Well, maybe the Congo Civil War, if the media reported it was causing a rise in global emissions and suddenly every environmental group is interested there.

I foresee an armed conflict with Georgia in the future, and possibly minor military action in the Ukraine. Possible, but unlikely conflict across the Taiwan strait, and another multitude of civil wars in Africa.

I think the Civil war there may gain attention. Maybe not for that reason though. I can almost guarantee that once people start hearing about it there will be a big movement of Hollywood for some cause in the area.
