The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

Nope, it's a specific size for bodies of water for every building, but a general one for units.

In my game, Arabia has so far collapsed three times, surviving each time with 1 or 2 cities.

It is a "collapse to core". Sever but not terminal.

They finally died from a fourth collapse though, soon after the Turkish spawn.

the spoon doesn't bend, Neo.

You are in a computer program Neo!

Tell me your secrets...

I wish I knew. I think it some 1 in the million glitches of the system.

EDIT: I think I remembered. Shut down (CIV4 running) and abort the shutting.

Note: Portugal, Prussia and Poland are french vassals. Argentina was their vassal too and Spain conquered (by Franch).

Spoiler :

They finally collapsed some turns before they win a domination victory and one turn before my victory

When I first saw this, I thought "You know that human-caused situations don't count!"

Then I saw his flag. :twitch:

I hate France in this game I really do..

How much of a hand did you play in this?

I was just too bored to conquer India, Tibet and Mongolia. If I conquered Patna before they do, then I would halt them with ease.

What a glorious respawn! They only hold Beijing, a city to the south (which has been controled by Tibet) and a doomstack.

I mananged to break through the doomstack and captured Beijing once again. Eventually, I also retook Kaifeng with some Keshiks (pun not intended). Hilariously though, the revolt at Kaifeng that should have happened only occured when I moved the doomstack to Nanjing so my Keshiks could rest. Tibet also retook it's old city.

Eventually, I gave up and I did not want to lose more armies, specially because I was trying to get to the Americas.

What is their tech situation like? I see they still have Ashirattu Bowmen, which means they didn't tech to longbows right away.

They actually teched up into Feudalism before they collapsed. They collapsed in 335 AD after Persia declared independence, so I assume they were unstable.

Babylon conquered Persia? Wow
