The pre-AFSNES I.

Ahh, orders soon, internet freaked out on me last night.

Let's see...when was the last time an overinflated empire doomed to collapsed managed to save itself completely :mischief:

DAS - Am i involved or not?

Were my orders ok?

DAS - Am i involved or not?

Have you joined? I recall that you didn't, in the end. Feel free to jump in now, though.

emu, yours were fine.

Das, what are the OTL equivalents to the various schools that you mentioned? i.e. which is which?

Err, I only mentioned the flourishing as such. One might presume that there are some equivalents of most OTL philosophical schools. I suspect some kind of a proto-Confucianist ideology is likely to be reign supreme (meritocracy+agrarianism).

Hello, i'm returned! Thanks for the help, I wrote the story so i partecipate with the Ligurians, especially in the Italian Ligurian territory.
I will send the orders in the time of minutes.

The Ligurians
The Ligurians, great merchants and great sailors, but especially a great people.
Their origins are loosed in the mists of time...the legends hand say that Ligurians came from the east, simple components of a big horde, but other legends, that certainly exalt much more the greatness of the Ligurian pepole, put the birthplace of this civilization where they live today, great defenders of the beautiful Liguria from the invasors.
The ancient past has always favoured the Ligurians, giving to them a big place to occupy, from the “Mouth of the World”[1] to the cold territories of the north, from the big plains of the river Bondicum[2] to the great river holy to the god Cicnu[3].
But the malevolent destiny didn’t give to them the instruments to protect this great gift, and evil pepole eroded more and more the world where Ligurians live, forcing they to occupy only the shadow of their previous territory.
Strangely the decadency didn’t take out the possibility to the Ligurians to became knowed everywere in the “Sea of the World”[4]: pionieers of the explorations and the navigations, always ready to trade with far places an civiliziations, but also great warriors on the sea ready to assault all ships that try to contrast their interests, all under the protection of the most powerful god, the great Belanu.
The wild nature of Ligurians unfortunately didn’t allow the birth of a united nation that protect the Ligurian civilization from the foreign treath
But today the great king Genu, intelligent and charismatic personality, reunited the most of the Ligurians tribe, created a prosperous and organized kingdom and founded the great city of Genova on an old village, designating it the capital.
Now the Ligurians, powered by a new nations, have will of revenge, have will of remake the old empire gived to they by the gods.
The Liguians are going to return powerful, whit the blessing of Belanu.

I will also them soon send.

das, just to confirm that I'm still intending to remain in this. Just saw the blurb asking about orders, officially I didn't have to time to get them in before the deadline, and I don't like sending in late orders. Apologies and I plan to have orders in soon enough. (i.e, no later than tonight).

My orders - which have been sent - are a bit longish, but I had lots to cover. ;)

Perhaps a new story soon, though I'm not sure what about.

Dachspmg - that's just plain wrong. The order length, I mean. ;) It's scary enough in the IT, but here it's even scarier.

Well, my orders will be less than 1 PM.

And I'm going to destroy my country to save das the trouble :D

The second PM isn't that long - it's much shorter than the other two. :D

I'm trying to invest a lot more time and energy into this NES than my previous forays; if by sheer willpower I can prevent my civilization from dying (as opposed to every other faction I've played), then I'll do what I can. Besides, most of that's description that I added because I couldn't get the images to work for whatever reason.

Tartessos will likely have some lengthy orders aswell. I am not going to let you destroy it, das, no matter how hard you may try. :p

Eh. The BT isn't supposed to be decided in detail by the players, so it would indeed be just plain wrong to send orders trying to cover everything. That should be a dead ringer for trouble for your civilization, not the other way around as you guys seem to believe... The NES proper hasn't even started yet. We should send short orders in order to let das take us quickly to the point where we can start for real.

I am not, by any means, going to send more than one PM. If I see the need to send more, I'm going to :wallbash: a few times and then go back and redo it. You should too. :p

I concur. My first orders, which were only about 5 paragraphs, will probably be the longest ones until ITs start.

We should all have a massive crusade on dachspmg :D He's used to people ganging up on him anyways :p
