@j_eps and Israelite: Why give up that easily? It would be rather astonishing if the empires we see now are the ones that actually make it to the beginning of the NES. At least not all of them will. And with the kind of trouble Ur has seen with its regional minorities, it shouldn't be all that hard for a PC-driven revolution to succeed...

Oh, I haven't given up on resurecting the Israelite colonial empire and reuniting the Beit Yisrael. It will just be a slightly different Jewish empire, at least for now.

EDIT: An on destroying the Karung/Egypt. Jewish religion here (as will most likely be reflected in my next story) is much more anti-Egypt than OTL. Mitrayim here has replaced the role of Babylon in Jewish symbolism.

Niklas, the entire state of Axum was in essence a Jewish rebellion. D`mt was not Jewish and had fallen to Nubia, Axum was the Jews taking over. i'm sure that Nubia is killing Jews there anyways, to prevent further rebellions. If not,....
