If you have the book covers, and Amazon has pictures of the books, you should be able to deduce their ISBNs from Amazon's listings.

I'm putting all my books into a database and I notice a lot of older ones are missing ISBNs. Where are they?

Editions of books printed for book clubs don't have ISBNs.

There must be a trope for this. You watch a tv show and X is true. However, all of the characters are totally missing the obvious clues and for some reason believe that Y or Z is true. Then, you want to scream at the tv screen, and your blood pressure is rising because it's so damned obvious that X is true.

For example, the character Michael Scott gets things so wrong so extremely often, it's actually mildly stressful for me to watch The Office because of the mistakes he makes about the staggeringly obvious.

So what trope would that be?

Because of the way the forum handles posts since I believe the 3.5 upgrade. There should be an explanation for it in SF, but you'd have to dig for it because it was a while ago.

Read the directions on the pill, it doesn't work quite the way it seems to.

I tend to delete posts in OT. That eliminates the offense and reduces pc.

On the other hand, you know whether or not you're wearing a condom. You're never sure if she's taken her Pill. And, the Pill won't prevent you from picking up any nasty STD's that she may have.
