Freezer burn. If it's completely grey, it probably wont taste too good, but I bet you can still make some good broth out of it.

It is just freezer burn, it probably won't taste as good or have as good a texture, but there is no danger in eating it.

Is there any free software out there that can record not only the videos I'm playing, but also the sound? I need to be able to obtain video clips for a little project of mine... so far, I've found plenty that record the video just find, but none that record audio... :(

What qualifies as legal residence in a state? Suppose a individual was born in a particular state and lives there in a fixed address for a number of years, individual then sells domicile and moves to a foreign country and remains there for a few year, individual returns to state but has no fixed permanent address as they are currently residing in friends houses, or dorms, but individual is registered to vote in the state and intends to continue living in the state, would they fall under a legal resident of the state or count as out of state?

What's the name for that incident in the 1980's where a Soviet computer falsely detected incoming nuclear missiles and the Soviet military guy prevented a retaliatory strike?

Great. :p

New question. I remember hearing a long time ago that in the US, the sunrise/sunset times are determined by the time the edge of the sun touches / appears above the horizon, while in the UK, it is determined by the time the center of the sun is at the horizon.

Is this true, if so, why? And why does the US measure it by the time the edge of the sun touches / appears above the horizon?

Because that's when it's actually out of view I think is the reason. By the time the sun is touching the horizon, I think I've heard it described that it's really past, but you're just seeing a refraction because of the atmosphere.

Question: What is a coo against a government?

Question: What is a coo against a government?

It's spelled coup(not being a spelling nazi, just letting you know :) ).

A coup is basically a revolution, though from what I know, it's far smaller in scale, and it's pretty much within the current government. Edit: Yes. It's more or less an internal event within the government, with officers overthrowing their superiors, whereas a revolution is an overthrow by external forces and is more widespread on average.

Example: President A has begun to engage in corruption. General B, with his cohorts Lieutenants C and D, decide that, for the good of the nation, he has to be overthrown, and order their soldiers to arrest and depose the President. General B becomes Acting President until an election can choose a new later. This is called a coup d'etat, or coup for short. :)

Whether the one engaging in the coup is altruistic or not varies(usually not).

Thanks both. In global history a few days ago we were watching a video and they were talking about a coup and I couldn't figure out what was going on.

I haven't tried it, but camstudio sounds like it might work.

My father was telling me once about how he was driving home from work at midnight and he said it suddenly became as bright as it would have been during daytime before turning dark again after a minute or two.

I have no way to explain this and it seems neither does he.

Your father has encountered a UFO!! :o

was he speeding?

no, not speeding

and he was returning from work, they frown on being drugged out

figured it may have been a speed camera.

Similar has happened to me but not blinding light i just assumed it was a solar flare or an especially cloudly night suddenly parting temporarily.

that sounds possible

either that or we're living in some truman show type reality and someone flipped the daytime switch by accident, so I'll take your explanation :p
