Is Stalin vs. the Martians purposely meant to be bad? Given how just flat out weird the concept is and all its flaws, it's easy to guess it's meant to be some sort of satire on poor sci-fi games.

Plus big budget movies have been purposely bad before: Mars Attacks, for example.

Yes, it was meant to be so-bad-it's-good. But with the crappy gameplay and other stuff, it's so-bad-it's-not-even-remotely-good.

Is it unhealthy for it to happen too often? I do remember one time trying to sleep and then I suddenly felt like I was falling into an abyss... pretty terrifying.

Even when I'm just laying in bed and not really half-asleep the stuff will just happen. Whether I've only closed my eyes for a few minutes, or if I've been tossing and turning to find a good position for like an hour plus.

I'm waiting for an apparition to appear, I swear. At the very least, I'd finally change my sheets.

I've read that it has been theorised this stems from us being related to monkeys and it is supposed to be a built in mechanism to stop them falling out of trees. Whether that is true or not i don't know!
