Yeah. That tends to be the major problem of ACs. Unless you live in America or can stay up late, you really can't play if the GM is on the East Coast. :(

Name: Maria Lombardi

Description: 5'4'', green eye (Right eye does not exist anymore, and is covered with an eyepatch), and black hair (which is perpetually short due to radiation). She is covered in a lot of burn marks, and is very intolerant of pain
Bio: When the nukes fell in Palermo, nothing was the same. Maria was only around eight at the time, but the memories lived on. She doesn't remember much in her previous life before the bombs, but she does remember that all of her friends and family died in the nuclear blasts. She wished she did too.

Maria was trapped in the ruins for hours. Fed troops inspecting the blasted city, however, heard her muffled cries and pulled Maria out. To their shock, what they thought would be just a normal little girl was grossly disfigured. Her right eye ceased to exist. It burned up and already fell out of the socket. All of her hair fell out, and there were third degree burns all over the body. It was uncertain if she would make it, but they tried everything they could to save Maria. However, they couldn't save her childhood innocence that was shattered ruthlessly in front of her eyes.

Maria was brought up north with a foster family in Piedmont. From there, she became dilliousined in life. There was no way she could pay attention in school, and dropped out at first opportunity. In her 20s, she jumped from one odd job to the next, not being able to focus on life. Maria grew discontent with the Federation, blaming it for her current life. There was what seemed to be an underground political movement, called "Avanta Italia", which glamoured for a free Italy. With nothing left to lose, Maria found some contacts in the circle, and tried to join.

However, the whole thing was a big front pulled by the Feds to find manpower for their expedition up in a new planet. They kidnapped Maria, along with others, and sent them up to Haven for the war. Again, she was unwillingly dragged from her own life, and thrusted a gun for her hands to serve the people Maria hated.

Skills:

I: Single Shot - deals high damage against one target.
II: Spray and Pray - lays a lot of bullets down over an area, but near nil chance to hit anything.
III: Underslung Grenades - can fire smoke, flashbang or frag grenades from your rifle.
IV: Burst Fire - tight, controlled bursts. Passive increase to damage.
V: Master Shot - passive accuracy bonus.

I: Strafing Run - a jet swoops by and strafes a large area with a gatling cannon.
II: Bomb Strike - a jet pounds a cluster bomb into the target area.
III: Gunship Support - a helicopter gunship flies in for one round, engaging enemy targets with rocket pods and a heavy cannon.

I: Kinetic Resistance - +10HP.
II: Supereffective Alloys - +10HP.

I: Technique - passive bonus to unarmed combat.
II: Pressure Strike - single powerful unarmed move.

I: Attractive - bonus to charisma checks.
II: Touch - single powerful charisma attack.
III: Silver Tongue - increased bonus.
IV Beautiful - chance that enemies of opposite gender will refuse to attack you.

Hey, I once needed that bottle twice on one mission! And Every time I used it it was sorta useful except once. And that was when there was acidic gas! That bottle saved lives!

Also; just noticed JoanK's only combat ability is a knife. And only because he gets it for free anyway. :twitch: Guess I'll lend him my pistol. :p
