Not too long ago they were at war with each other and it seemed unimportant and went unreported. They are at peace now. And yes, the Hittites have been quiet for a long, long time.

That is a huge SoD....I believe that a peaceful resolution will be necessary, well at least if you do not want to lose your city.....

Also, read Gudea's speech under 1704 AD. Peace is no longer on the table, it has left the building.

Science Advisor- My colleagues and I would-
King Gudea- Sorry, your funding is being cut off. You scientists will have to do it on your own or find some kind of private funding.
Science Advisor- Very well, my King. Any new advances will come at a much slower pace. What would you like us to look into?
Military Advisor- Some of our generals would like a viable way of attacking from the sea and not get slaughtered on the beach.
Science Advisor- I don't know if this will require just new doctrine or a whole new set of equipment. We will look into it.
(all specialists changed to scientists)
1740 A.D.
Military Advisor- The Romans have sent in another bombing raid against Abregado. Over 30,000 citizens died in the attack! Also, the main harbor, the marketplace and a partially-done battleship were all destroyed. The population is panicking and is on the verge of anarchy.
King Gudea- We need to get more fighters stationed along our border, to intercept those bombers.
Military Advisor- I'm also going to add flak batteries to all the border garrisons.

Military Advisor- Rome is starting to arrive in larger numbers near Bortras. They are obviously trying to come up with their own version of the tank, cause the latest formation of Roman troops showed up with this.
Military Advisor- It was highly maneuverable and boasted several machine guns, but no large-calibre cannon. We found out the armor is very thin on top, when just one grenade hit disabled it. Their scientists will be going back to the drawing board!
King Gudea- Our artillery & bomber squadrons will have to hold them off as long as they can. I want all new tank and infantry units assigned to the Arabian theatre.
(Arabia has Amphibious Warfare)
1745 A.D.
Military Advisor- Sir, the CCHQ for the 3rd Army Group was targeted by the Egyptian army and was almost destroyed. Several hundred medics, cooks, support personnel and reserves were killed. This will temporarily hold up the 3rd AG's advance.
1750 A.D.
Military Advisor- Master, the 1st Armored Division has shipped out to sea with the 4th Army Group, bound for Fustat. The companies of the 2nd & 7th Infantry Divisions have been divided up and reassigned to any other division that needed reinforcements. Two armored divisions have filled the holes left by this restructuring. Each Army Group now has at least one armored division.
King Gudea- Very good! An armored division is bound to do a lot of damage. I can't wait to see!
Military Advisor- Also, a number of fighter squadrons and flak batteries have been deployed to the east border.
1705 to 1756 A.D.
Military Advisor- My King, we have completed our initial operation against Egypt and our forces are moving into position, to take revenge on Abu.
King Gudea- How many men died in the battle of El-Ashmunien?
Military Advisor- There are around 200 men in each company. If you take into account the casualties taken by the surviving companies, then there was 2132 men killed in the battle.
King Gudea- That is over half the division, isn't it?
Military Advisor- Yes. I have taken the surviving companies of the 5th Infantry and reassigned them to garrison duty on the eastern border. That will help in defending against Rome. That open divisional slot was filled with the 4th Armored Division, which means the 3rd Army Group now has two armored divisions.
1756 A.D.
Foreign Advisor- My King, the Romans have offered a peace deal to the Carthaginians and it has been accepted.
Military Advisor- Commander, the Romans will now be able to concentrate more heavily on us.
King Gudea- We will have to make judicious use of our artillery & bombers.
Military Advisor- A few of our garrisons at battalion strength(4 units) could be reduced to 1 or 2 companies, and the extra companies skimmed off could be shuffled around where needed.
(Arabia has Motorized Transportation)
1757 A.D.
Foreign Advisor- As requested, our diplomats have investigated the Arabian city of Fustat.
King Gudea- Destroying this city will definately burn Abu's hide, seeing as how his summer palace is located there.
Military Advisor- Taking out a nearly-completed aircraft carrier will be icing on the cake. Sir, I also have the army totals for Arabia. They look fairly strong of defense, with over 200 infantry companies protecting their cities. The offensive capability is less than 100 companies and should be dealt with easily.
King Gudea- What is the current location of the 4th Army Group?
Military Advisor- The Carrier Group and the transport ships are now located in international waters, just north of Fustat. They are waiting for your order to commence with Operation: Roadblock.

I hope those guerillas and extra Arabian bombers won't be a problem. Otherwise with our unique superiority in tanks we should (hopefully) be able to stomp Arabia quickly.
I've done something a little different in this next update. Hope no one minds. The huge SoD lists were making rather large screenshots and it gets old looking at huge list after list, so I am summarizing it in certain shots. The list won't be so overwhelming and I've also tried to make them look like the pop-up list in the game.
