If you are a Christian its unnecessary to see every astrological event as a herald of the impending return or a sign of God's anger.

But if you are a Christian who believes in a living God and a meaningful Bible then you'd be hard pressed to deny that astrological signs will be absent from the itinerary of the Almighty. There simply are too many references in the Bible to dismiss it all out of hand.

So this event is being advertised as one with a pretty impressive track record. The last three are said to coincided with the expulsion of the Jews during the Spanish Inquisition, the formation of Israel as a nation state, and the last with the Six Day Arab-Israeli war.

This one is already marked by the betrayal of Israeli by an American president. An event which is startling in its context. One can only winch at the thought of further revelatory events.

For those of you who are basically ignorant of the Biblical and historical record, Israel is God's chosen people and despite their violent repudiation of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Creator, the Lord God will honor His promise to uphold Israel in the final world ending battle of Good versus Evil.

All the nations will come against Israel in that day. As individuals, Christians must be prepared to cast aside our national identities and stand on the right side, with God and for the Jews in that terrible day.

Not to say that we can assume this Tetrad is proof or even evidence that the time is at hand. Notwithstanding the potential, astrological events are for us a reminder of promises made and prophesies yet to be fulfilled. God stands outside of and in command of all creation and is just as likely to evoke a blood moon and solar eclipse outside of His established regime as to be constrained by well understood schedules.

We would be wise, at the least, to utilize this time to ponder a transactional moment with the Savior of the world. Time will end and many are lost.

Grace and mercy are found in the blood of the Lamb and none are excluded except by purposeful choice in the exercise of free will.

God is Great.

Very few people have succeeded by placing their trust in Astrology. Good luck :hatsoff:

:coffee:

Here's a list of prior tetrads:

1. 162-163 C.E. (Common Era)
2. 795-796 C.E.
3. 842-843 C.E.
4. 860-861 C.E.
5. 1493-1494 C.E.
6. 1949-1950 C.E.
7. 1967-1968 C.E.
8. 2014-2015 C.E.

I'm sure lots of bad things happened on each and every one of those last tetrads. Right?

Well, 842 immediately made me think of:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Mu'tasim

wiki article on Al Mutasim said:
Abu Ishaq 'Abbas al-Mu'tasim ibn Harun al-Rashid (Arabic: أبو إسحاق عباس بن هارون الرشيد; 795 – 5 January 842), better known by his regnal name al-Mu'tasim bi-'llah (المعتصم بالله, "he who seeks refuge in God") was the eighth Abbasid caliph, ruling from 833 to his death in 842.[1] A son of Harun al-Rashid, he succeeded his half-brother al-Ma'mun, under whom he served as a military commander and governor. His reign was marked by the introduction of the Turkish slave-soldiers (ghilman or mamalik) and the establishment for them of a new capital at Samarra. This was a watershed in the Caliphate's history, as the Turks would soon come to dominate the Abbasid government.[1][2] Domestically, Mu'tasim continued Ma'mun's support of Mu'tazilism and its inquisition (mihna). Mu'tasim is also notable as a warrior caliph, waging almost continuous wars, both against the Byzantine Empire, where he personally led the celebrated Sack of Amorium, as well as against various internal rebels, most notably achieving the final suppression of the Khurramite rebellion.[1][2]

And the sack of Amorion (then the largest city in Asia Minor and home to the concurrent eponymous Amorian Dynasty of the Byzantine Empire) was a pretty significant effect. But the actual war happened before 842; 842 was the end of that chaliph's reign, and also his death; he died in the first days of January in that year.

Zzzzzzzzzzz....

You know the bible says 'beware of false prophets'?

So Jesus is a dealer and we need to sacrifice a goat.

Hey, Columbus found America during 5th Tetrad. It's excellent for Europeans and very, very bad for everyone else.

With the Blood Moon comes proclamations by Putin, Merkel and Medvedev that civil war has come to Ukraine.

But just coincidence that war has come again to Europe, between East and West, of course. Coincidence.

Not even coincidence. If you really want to put meaning to something, there's always some occasion you will find that fits the bill.

No tetras during the worst mass killings in human history. :coffee:

Yeah, the living four blood-mooned god of meaningful Bible and tetradas doesn't seem to give a damn about them.

I think you can find plenty more examples of Christian violence against Jews. The other way around, not so much.

But nice of God to spare the Jews. I fear many Christians will not fare so good.

You must not have read your horoscope this month because Jupiter is in goddamn Pleiades.

Do you not know what that means?

There are so many major political events related to Israel that it would be a miracle if one of the Tetrads didn't coincide with something related to Israel.
