I expect it will be a campaign issue
If you know anything about how tips are distributed at restaurants you would know the scenario of the bartender deciding who gets what is highly dubious.
I'm sure you'll do your best to make it one by never shutting up about it.
"Most of the staff at Flats Fix, the East 16th Street taco and tequila bar, say nice things about Sandy, as they knew her for the four years she worked there, until she quit six months ago to run for Congress."
But nope. One incident with one waitress - which may have been justified if the waitress was crap at her job, for example - is what Berz is going to judge by.
Maybe she was withholding tips to give more to barbacks and other waitresses who were working harder. Come on Berz, this is really dumb of you to fall for this.
"You will know them by their fruits." Well, maybe, but I think that would require more than one fruit if you wanted to be fair about it.
So the waitress was lousy at her job...? And I'm the one making convenient assumptions?
Those are obviously both nice policies, so which ones do you consider stupid as hell? Raising the minimum wage floor? Some of her policies are nice; others are stupid as hell. I speak of her desire to abolish ICE and have open borders
I dont think dismissing or attacking the waitress is fair
and waded in and said SHS should be able to eat in peace.
How do people think we can get more folks like Ocasio-Cortez elected?
How do people think we can get more folks like Ocasio-Cortez elected?
Nah, he's not a socialist, and he's already been out lefted now. He declined the abolish ICE platform and waded in and said SHS should be able to eat in peace.
universal suffrage + free quality education for all the peopleHow do people think we can get more folks like Ocasio-Cortez elected?
I didn't, but this entire line of enquiry (without further cases of her being a bad tipper) just seems like a fairly far-fetched attempt to rag on a Democrat again.
I said "may have been." That's explicitly not making an assumption.
You're ignoring other things from this very same story that say Alexandria was well-liked at her job. Do you think that would be true if she was habitually keeping tips from the servers? Don't be daft.
