TIL that India produces 85% of the world's spices.

That was the question at trivia tonight (where we won our 3rd straight season in a row!) .. "Which country produces the 85% of the world's spices?" .. We figured it was India and it was right, but the high %age surprised all of us

Congratulations! :)

85%? I'd believe it. I wonder which countries produce the other 15%. Of course these percentages are going to change once we find other habitable planets and new kinds of vegetation.

I doubt that Zanzibar exists as a country these days. :)

I totally blanked on the term "VCR" yesterday, so it does happen sometimes (note that this does not mean I defend Trump, just pointing out that sometimes people blank on words).

*shrugs* I usually either call it a border tax or an import fee. Of all the reasons to dislike or mock Trump, this isn't high up on the list.

What can I say? I'm clearly special. :)

Ground spice girls is excellent on eggs.

Well before we are capable of travelling to, or getting information from distant planets, we will have the genetic and other techs to design and create myriads of new foods.
Of course, if our interplanetary friends do home deliveries, I'm all in.

I thought that Ground Spice was the rejected sixth Spice Girl.
Oh yeah, I remember ground spice. She covered herself with mud and soil. Not sure why she was rejected.

Clearly, her name was mud. :p

It's more part of a pattern of things the president elect doesn't know. He also doesn't know about nukes and what they are for. You may worry about that.:

The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!

TIL that the president elect doesn't know that the media is plural. (That the president elect is a really whiny kind of person is not something new indeed. I learned that quite a while ago.)

So, already it's becoming clear that Mexico won't be paying for any wall. But wait: they will still pay for it later! And the dishonest media aren't reporting future events! So unfair!

Or, rather, US citizens will be paying for it. Again, nothing new there.

(Again, a pattern here: all through his campaign Mr Trump kept saying things that simply weren't true. And yet, he kept repeating them. So at least there is some consistency there.)

After this tweet the Toyota share lost 2 %. Thanks, Obama!

That fool is going to get himself assassinated.

If I had that kind of power I would turn it into an extortion scheme.
I'd call five big companies and tell them I will tweet about the one that has paid me the least money by next Friday.
Maybe that's what he is doing. If that's the case he's already overdoing it. I would only do it once a year in order to stay tolerable.
