Today I learned if you put something sciency in Science and Technology, nobody notices. If someone else puts the same news in OT, things do get noticed. :rolleyes:

I thought organic molecules in space were pretty cool. :dunno:

TIL: That there are still good things in the past amongst the bad things.

TIL Malaysia is the world leader in production of medical gloves. Just checked the nitrile gloves on my bench. Yes, they're made in Malaysia.

Also, the War on Drugs means little morphine for people in pain in the developing world.

TIL new saying in English(UK):

Only fools and horses work.

So much things to learn! Working hard on that.

TIL some stormfront folks like and respect Asians for their "intelligence" and "diligence", as long as they don't 'interbreed' with whites of course. What a strange worldview these people have, but that's nothing new to me of course.

Well, they clearly wouldn't want intelligence or diligence to become associated with the gene pool of white people.

It's more of a 'they have X and Y characteristics, which are valuable, in spite of being inherently inferior' thing.

Yah, preetty much.

It's also the "Asians are traditional which means they understand their racial qualities and don't mix with other races, so we respect that" sort of thing.
