Why TiP? I hate people who service me becuase they do this as their job not as a gratitute, I demand from their a service but I won't pay them for it. I have friends who said that they get so much money from tips and would hate to work in the kitchen, these guys get no tips...
So why tip the laziests slobs, for people that give me signs that they want their tip, I just become extra rude and demand more services!
I am not mean but tipping is arragogant and exploits people's feelings, of course I feel no shame only anger.

I remmeber that Doctors/Lawyers were rated the worst tippers on some Country radio morning show but they are smart people, so smart people do not tip.

Tipping is a good idea if you don't like spit in your food and you go to the same restaurant more than once.

I tip where it is customary. If the service is good, I tip generously. Somehow, I tend to get better service on the whole than angry customers with no class.

I ordered a small thing and have been siting there using WiFi= a good sized addition, but not exceeding 100% of the value of the item I bought

I tend to get very good service when i go somewhere more than once,

also I'm good friends with 4/7 city council members and friends with the people in charge of chamber of commerce, that may have something to do with it

Tipping isn't big in Australia. Having said that, most people will leave a tip for good service. Generally that tip is just the change from what they paid on the bill, so if their dinner cost $79, you would probably get $1 tip, and if the bill was $47.50, you might get $2.50. But it isn't really a major thing at all. I'm a waiter, and only about 8-10% of my earnings are from tips. People assume that their waiting staff get paid adequately, with that cost reflected in the price of food/drinks.

Staff who provide service based on tips really shouldn't be in a job.

Hmmm, I do not ever go to places more then once. Maybe that is why my angry attitude works so well

The most I ever gave on a tip was the change I did not want to keep, so I tell him "Keep the change", amounting to some 12 cents, it feels awkward so I would now only tell them to keep a pathetic change if I wanted to make a funny

Impossible! they wear suits and obviously they get paid above minimum wage becuase they live in Canada. I am sure minimun wage is illegal in Amwrica too.
Tipping should be done to insult greedy servicemen only, like give them a heavy pile of cents.
But this is just funny to be done if in a joking mood. Lets say I did go to a resturant twice and he did spit in my food, I wouldn't risk it, I would ask him straightup if he spit in my food? Or tell him that your plate is dirty.

A good waiter juggles the orders of over a dozen people at multiple tables, keeps them all straight, is ready to serve your every whim. It's not exactly a strenuous job, but it's not exactly nothing, either. Observe the difference between a cheap fast food joint and a decent establishment. Pretty much every difference aside from the food itself (and the cost) is due to the wait staff.
