Nice update.

Thanks! I feel a bit guilty for not having more about India and China, and nothing about the Golden Horde...but I'll definitely add something over the next few days.

Now, I'm going to sleep.

Very nice update.

It seems Lothringen has gained one turn of reprieve, though I don't dare think it gets another.

IC:

To Bavaria
From Lothringen

I do trust that you see we have no fault in this matter, and thus you will keep your pledge not to attack us.

But is my nation Russian, or Ukrainian? or is it something of a more Hellenically influenced slav?

Russian, with Byzantine influences, yes. The nation description pretty much covers it.

Np, Panda.

*resisting urge to meddle in Norse affairs* GAHHH!
Please, meddle away. Do you want them back?

If I understand the update correctly, Spain is setting up a Hispanic church that is separate from the Catholic church. Shouldn't that outrage the Pope, and Spain's allies in the Catholic League?

Nice update, but...

Where was the Norse Empire's army deployed (how did it manage to cross the ocean?) if my navy surrounded Norway right at the onset of the war (Which was what I was counting on.)? The only way that that army could have been there was that if it was there from the last turn onward. (Which there was not a sign of it being there, though I could be wrong.)

I'll answer my diplo later on...

Nice Update!!!!

From Bavaria
To Norse Empire

Due to the pressure of the Catholic League and the survival our kingdom Bavaria must renounce our alliance and declare war on the Norse Empire.

Fom Bavaria
To Lothrigen

We will assist your armies if you return the German cities along the Rhine and you keep your borders within France.

From Bavaria
To Sweden

We are going to assume control over your rebelling territories in Germany to keep stability on our borders. It is obvious that the Germans do not want to be ruled by Swedes.

From Bavaria
To Austrian Empire

We have honored our alliance may the Catholic League emerge victortious.

lurker's comment: Nice update, very bloody, keep it up!

To: The Norse Empire
From: Aquitaine
cc: Our allies

You are surrounded by enemies. There is no chance for you to survive this coalition of the willing. In order to save the lives of innocents we strongly urge you to meet with representatives from the allied nations and listen to our demands.
You can either give in and save the lives of your people or condemn your people to death and destruction.
Have a nice day.

King Gilles II

From: Norse Empire
To: Bavaria

Fool! Very well, be Austria's puppet. Do you think that Austrian soldiers will do the dying? You will fight Austria's enemies for her, and then, when you are weak, Austria will betray you.

From: Norse Empire
To: Aquitaine
CC: Your allies

Very well. We will hear your demands. However, if they are unreasonable, the Norse Empire will continue to fight.

OOC: Coalition of the willing?

The Norse troops had been quickly brought across from Denmark and Britain before the war began, in the summer of 1506. Though you nearly severed their supply lines.
