TOS Version 3 test PBEM

Well, your sub crew didn't like it very much. I check before I bring transports into range of subs. Nice try though....

Chengdu fell but not before it put up a heck of a fight. How much infantry did you have in there? I felt like I was killed stacks and stacks of them. I lost one infantry, but many units were redlined with my elite tank and infantry army getting close. Your conscript infantry south of Langchow was quite annoying. It took 3 infantry attacks to kill the damm thing. (Two redlined infantry retreated).

Ningsia on the other hand was a piece of cake. 1 rifleman redlined a tank, but tank #2 finished the job. I also got my third MGL from the conquest.

I think the Chinese are toast, so maybe somebody can play Eric's side since he is down to 3 cities (it will be two next turn because I can't imagine Langchow can hold out against 2 armies).

Don't have a clue where the US Navy went, but after Pearl they are probably hiding in San Diego with their tails between their legs. (Tokyo Rose is having a good time with that one).....

Cheers

Probably not a bad idea, since Eric will be gone for the holidays, if no one objects.

BTW, which sub did you sink (I have so many... ) ;)

Hmm, I can't recall. Why don't you tell me where they are and I'll let you know which one it was?

;)

It was in Northern Borneo. BTW my battleship was promoted to elite for sinking it. Thanks.

Happy New Year to all as well.

The game has gone absolutely no where in your absence. Does anyone know where the turn is?

Its been so long since I've seen a turn in this game that I can't even remember what I was doing strategy wise.

I've lost a great deal of my motivation to play this through.

May I suggest that everyone make an effort to play their turn within 24 hours of receiving it so we can at least get some kind of momentum back? If we are going to be doing a turn / week (or even less as has been for the last month), them I'm sorry, but I'm out.

I feel an obligation to Eric_A to provide feedback, but I must admit a high level of frustration in this game in not being able to play turns regularly (or on any kind of schedule).

<Just venting>

We have a problem. The turn I received from the Dutch causes all of my naval units and all of my non-fortified land units to have a movement of zero.

At the start of my turn, I've discovered a tech this turn (my first), and had a couple of city builds, but other than nothing else.

I've asked that the turn be replayed and resent, because I'm not particularly keen on losing an entire turn of combat.

Let's see what happens on the replay......

Anybody seen this before?
