You Mr Spice are a Child of God!

That was not exactly the answer I expected, but a much better one. The first round goes to you. :)

As a knight of the Warchurch I say build no Oracle but instead units, so we may crush every army that will rise against us! Temples are a good thing, however.

Yes... for example, Your body is actually a temple, so your body is of God, so Youre under my administration... because I'm the God manager here on Earth.:crazyeye:

Does that mean we will get culture points from building units?

The oracle is one wonder I always build, because it's great for keeping your whiners quiet while you march off to war.

"Godinex", could you please stop talking like that. There might be some rather religious people here in real life *cough, hack*, that might take offense to you acting like some sort of prophet. At least say "The Gods" or something, it makes you seem less serious. Some people may already be bothered enough by all the fake religious stuff regarding war over in this forum.

(PLEASE NOTE THAT NOTHING IN THIS POST IS A PERSONAL ATTACK ON A PERSON OR A GROUP! I JUST GOT HIT WITH A PET PEVE!)

Ohh, this brings up a very interesting concept. Should the veiw of the "rather religious people" take precedence
over those such as Godlinex, the War Church, and myself?
Who is right and who is wrong?
Is it possible to tell?
Who has that right to make that decision? (in the big picture, in this case it is the modderators)

This is a Demo game, so where are you drawing the line? Just because it may bother one or two, should the whole be shushed? Mr. Miller, I am also a deeply religious person, yet I am bothered by your ideas on censorship. Maybe you could say something to make you sound less serious.

Who is right and who is wrong?

Leave the religious ramblings to the OT forum; we're all to have fun here. ;)

In spite of its name, I declare the War Church to have nothing religious in its nature and substance. It's just a militaristic platform. A fun club.

Peace. :smoke:

I actually like the pseudo-biblical ramblings. They don't hurt anybody, and the provide amusement. Considering our current diplomatic situation, we should be happy for anything amusing. I would be saddened to see this thread go. You have the domestic departments blessing Godinex. The people of our nation will need a higher power to turn to as more and more are drafted into the military.

hey duke. as stated above, i can't stand religious fanatics. but if this thread gets locked down, i would love to see the list of people who complained. is that possible? BTW, got a smoke?

I hate censorship as much as you do, I was just trying to ask people politly to not to talk like that, as it was bothering me. I also don't think that really counts as censorship as much as if I had asked a moderator to delete this thread, which I woudn't do.

Again, I would NOT like this thread locked or deleted or anything. That would be censorship, which I hate.

Well, if all Benjamin is asking for is us to speak of "gods" instead of "god", then that does not seem very unreasonable to me. :)

There is nothing wrong with some role-playing and religious sarcasm as long as nobody is offended by it and that it fit's in the context of the Demo game IMO.

But we mods are watching this thread ,and we will close it if thing are running out of hand.

Some of You ask me for a Miracle!

So here is my mine! The first infidels, like You, defend the prophet!
The Church od the One has now people and the hour is next to us!

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon).[]

Hastening towards the caller, the disbelievers will say: "This is a hard Day."

I would SERIOUSLY advise you not to treat the prophet Muhammad and Qur'anic verses as some sort of a joke. They are treated with the utmost respect by muslims, and if any muslims saw how you had just posted verse 54:1 of the Quran in some sort of prophet imitation "joke", almost calling youself Muhammad or equal with him, and without noting that it had been taken from the Qur'an, they would be VERY offended.

OK! What the Hell can a Prophet say in this forum? The Gods wanna make laws, can the Gods make laws? (I fear too much democracy in this game will affect the good intentions of the One... pray, pray because the anger of the One is close... and make all the childrens that You can)

Some people are just a little touchier than others Godinex. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just try to make your prophecy as vague and incomprehensible as you possibly can. That is the nature of prophecy anyway, is it not?;)
