Pour Decision Maker
In a ploy that could have only come from the most devious of Criminal Minds, Time Warner Cable has stopped provided CBS to its subscribers. Apparently the Blue Bloods at CBS want more money from TWC to broadcast their content. TWC, being apparently as cheap as 2 Broke Girls, cried foul
How will we consumers take this? Will we crawl back to our Mom and wait it out or stand up broad and say We Are Men and demand that TWC bring back CBS in the next 48 Hours, give or take 60 Minutes.
More broadly, who are The Crazy Ones here? Who has Intelligence, who are the Hostages, and who will be the Survivor? What do the Mentalists among you augury in this Amazing Race to fall season? Is this just so absurd that it seems to be Comedy Time?
Personally, I think it is Elementary that TWC will fold to CBS and return to being the Good Wife to broadcast TV. Then again, Im not necessarily the smartest person in the world; I certainly didnt come with the Big Bang Theory.
TWC also pulled Showtime, which I guess is owned by CBS. While not a real threat to the Homeland, but it does mean tons of people will be in the Weeds for the final episodes of Dexter.
All in all this sure seems like a Shameless fight over money by both companies. Maybe cable TV is just a House of Lies that is about to come down all together.
