I don't know. I'm not versed in GB economics. Is Asda the largest private employer in GB?

Not sure if they are the largest employmer, but they do have 150,000 employees, and took in GB£42,641 million so far this year.

Wall Street liked the deal. The price of GM went up on the abnnouncement and GM is seen as cutting a deal that the other U.S. automakers will now cut with the UAW.
