UFOs

the summary promises it would be a thing ı wouldn't understand and would have an headache if ı tried to . So , is this a leak that the contact happened and in exchange for free methane ...

?

was amazed at the ease that a suited picture came up after googling name/movie name ...

► The SETI hypothesis of an intelligent signal in the genetic code is tested. ► The code is shown to possess an ensemble of same-style precision-type patterns. ► The patterns are shown to match the criteria of an intelligent signal.

It's an argument for intelligent design, not E.T.

Interesting idea. What would be the hypothesised motivation for a designer to include such a signal in the genome?

Where is this picture from?

already answered , with my things about it already in place . There is this kinda thin book ı own since the 1990s when ı would put some pound sterlings in an envelope and order books from the UK . About close support but mostly about dive bombing . The picture was there . The Marines in the early Korean War were the brilliance that kept America afloat . First to respond to the call to the colours , readily better than the US Army , and when surrounded by the Chinese , their advance on a different direction which indeed was not a retreat became the newspapers' preferred story to cover . Certainly much better than the sorry saga of the 8th Army on the other side of the Peninsula . With the ROK units in the center totally demolished , the US Army had a few bad nights over Mac Arthur's brilliant plans to have the Turkish Brigade surrounded and destroyed to create a big enough shock to kill the Republic of 1923 . Of course -propaganda to masses- here sugggests that the North Koreans have their war museum and there are wax statues depicting the disasters that befell the UN forces . Except they have a Turkish flag and it stays on a shelf neatly folded . Unlike the Stars and Stripes that lies on the ground .

we Turks used to be respected somewhat more back in the day . And USMC provided tanks to the Turkish Brigade in the next rounds , as the Brigade was like attached to the Marines , who like would not place it out on a limb to be destroyed after a few unfortunate stuff . Like the Brigade matching the "retrograde" rate of the US Army to Pyonyang and Seul . Down to Mattis , sworn enemy of the Republic by the long running American strategical designs to create a Kurdish Nation State , but still talking about the exploits of the Brigade standing shoulder to shoulder with the Marines , as Mattis learned in school in so many decades ago .

something that bothers the city but ı can't tell . Yet ı imagine 15 year olds might very well claim to have seen the latter picture , even if she is quite likely to be older than their mothers , just like in the picture , like having an hairdo at some moment ? Am desperate about the future of mankind , of the ways people can be fooled . There are no aliens and having a Nazi flying saucer bringing its allies from outer space will not help . In case people have fotgotten , the Congregation had UFO books that said Nazis would come back to kill the Jews , with the allies they found in the Sirius star system and they were shortly expected to arrive in ... 1968 ... with people just forgetting to fix fhe date as they were going to press with the books they had translated , to demoralize the Turks .

corsair , a cool design from the times combat planes used to come with ashtrays ...

I find it interesting that most of these so-called alien sightings are by Americans... I guess aliens like BBQ.
Most. Paul Hellyer seemed to think they were real.

For that matter, my dad was into UFOs. He'd buy the Enquirer and insist that I read such-and-such an article, or watch a "documentary" with him that was on TV.

Sorry, I'm not an impressionable kid anymore. Any pseudoscience books I owned (and any strays I still find in my collection) hit the dumpster. I may enjoy SF stories that include UFOs but that's fiction. People really need to learn to separate science from fiction.

reminds me of a Star Trek TNG episode, the main humanoid species find out they're all related to a people who had long since vanished - the clues were hidden in everyone's DNA

Nothing to say about the "Distant Origins" episode of Voyager? That's the episode where the Voyager crew discovers a race of intelligent hadrosaurs who were the only dinosaur species to escape extinction by evolving to the point that they could leave Earth. Humans and dinosaurs had DNA in common since both species evolved on Earth.

Life here on Earth began almost 4 bya following what researchers call the late heavy bombardment. This is around the same time continents began forming driven by plate tectonics - the analogy of the cosmic egg with its cracked surface. I think this late heavy bombardment sheared off chunks of the planet's crust and upper mantle while depositing heavy radioactive elements and thats why we see an asteroid belt where our water came from and comets.

So was life produced by these collisions? Or was it here already and survived the LHB or was it brought here by material from an older solar system? I'm assuming if UFOs are for real the beings responsible are related to us and might be able to interbreed with us given some modifications. The sons of God who came down and took a liking to the daughters of man had children, the Nefilim. This displeased God who sought their destruction with the great flood.

Don't tapdance, Berzerker. After all these years and umpteen threads, you know full well what proof I mean.

I have no intention of enumerating the many things you've claimed and provided no proof for, because I'm not interested in a rerun of them that you can claim are valid to trot out again because I "mentioned it first."

You know full well what they are, I'm not mentioning them, and you and I are done here.
