Strider said:If you walked to work, then you didn't get to see very much of the city. I live in St. Louis, but I've been to Kansas City quite often. The only abandoned parts I've ever seen were the ones marked as a historical site (abunch of old warehouses by the looks of them to.)
I lived there for almost 2 months. I hooked up with a couple of friends of which one had a car, and the only places I was able to find of any interest was Westport, the Plaza, and some movie theater in a strip mall in Kansas City, Kansas. (we snuck in to see two movies for the price of 1) What was I missing?
) yet, but I'd have to say it's... hmm... I can't quite remember the name *exactly*, but I believe it is called something like Atlantic Mine (ironically only about 50 miles from the city I think has the most beautiful view). It's essentially a few shacks, an abandoned mineshaft with rusted equipment, and minerock and stampsand littering the area around it.
I am from Brno, so my duty is to spread a bad picture of our arch-enemy
