Cic: Some leave earlier and some stay till after pub-closing time (so I've heard).
The first time I had to leave at 4 pm and the 2nd time around 10:30 pm.

I've asked Rambuchan and it's fairly certain he has a place for me. Now I need to check my finances to see if I can afford to come over or not.

Return flights are still there for 160 Euros.

Okies everybody, just got my train ticket and I arrive into Paddington at 11:03 meaning I estimate i'll get to the meeting point between 11:30 and 12 depending on tubes (should be fine):) Found a nice late (11:30) train back so won't have to leave till gone 10pm!:)

edit - I messaged Eklektikos on facebook as well to see if he's up for it. If there's anyone else we wanna let know we should probably geta round to doing so :)

I come home from a weekend spent in Brighton (Fantastic, beautiful, want to move there!) and find I have lost my job.

I am going to struggle to pay next months rent let alone afford another trip down.

Sorry guys, I'll not be maknig it.. put me down for '09 when i've moved closer ;)

I'm sorry to hear that Abaddon.

Remember that this is officially the 2007 meetup, there may be another chance in six months or so when we feel like another piss-up. :)

Well i've found a college down there that might do a suitable course, only 30mins drive from Brighton.. so i'd like to thik its at least a 60% possibility.

Northbrook college? Or Chichester?

Plumpton.

I am worried i'll be join a load of 17 year olds (im 21) who can't add up without taking their socks off.. but then again what can I expect. I'm going to agricultural college after getting a degree.. :crazyeye: At least the course is probably only 2 days a week so the rest of the time i'll be in the real world still

A friend of mine went to agricultural college. She thought it was great, learning to use chainsaws etc. Plenty of characters I guess...

Brighton is pretty cool, been out there a number of times now (I've been living in Eastbourne since September 2007), sorry to hear you lost your job :( As for the meet, I really don't think I'll be there (again) as I've been far too inactive here and also it is during a Six-Nations Day when there are three games!

Preliminary roll-call and last chance to get your name, tel no and any other details pmed to me!

I'm not sure I can make this anymore, as I have a very important football match on Saturday afternoon which I wouldn't want to miss, which would mean that I couldn't get to London until the evening. If I then had to take the last train at midnight, it wouldn't really be worthwhile. How long do you guys and gals think you're going to stick around for, and until when would the pub be open? I could catch a train at 6 am if people stay really late.

I'm half expecting an all-nighter, so come along!
