What time are we looking for this thing?
It's a really big restaurant man, you can't miss it. ;)

@ Whomp: So are you actually gonna come over then? I mean when a date is fixed?

OK I can book a flight that arrives Thurday Nov. 9th at 7:30 AM. and departs Mon. Nov. 14th. Hang out with friends in Buckinghamshire Thursday and whatever the rest of the weekend.

November is good for me. Saturday is good. Chinese food is good (I am vege and chinese vege food is top notch sir!). Pub is good.

Ok this could be big for me. I may have to pop a big question this particular weekend....Here's the recommended Friday someone once gave me. ;)

Morning:we meet at 11am in a Starbucks near Tottenham Court Road. We'll sit down, have a chat over coffee. Once we're bored of that, we'll make our way down Oxford Street then Regent Street - stopping off in the Apple Store cos everyone wants to go in and have a nose around. Its very pretty in there but you won't catch me buying a Mac! (Whomp's gal does) *sticks nose in the air* OHH! And of course we have to go in Hamleys, the finest toy store in the world, apparently. I just love it because I am a big kid.

Lunchtime: By the time we would've made it down to Picadilly Circus it'll be lunch time, if not early afternoon, so we should catch some lunch. I know the best places to have Japanese food around there, and obviously there's China Town to visit! And Leicester Square, which can be very pretty. I love eating out, its one of my favourite things to do

Afternoon: We'll catch a bus to Knightsbridge - very swish. The bus will take us down Picadilly, past the Royal Academy Of Arts and The Ritz on the edge of Green Park, to Hyde Park Corner and then on to Knightsbridge. We'll get off the bus there and walk down towards South Kensington, maybe stopping in Harrods if you so wish. On the way past Patisserie Valerie, we should pick up a quick pastry to nibble on the way to the museums! Hurray! I love museums. We'll spend the afternoon perusing the free exhibits in the museum of your choice: The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum or the Victoria And Albert Museum..
Alternatively we could visit/Rollerblade in Hyde Park - its very pretty there, especially on a nice sunny day. However i am rubbish on skates and will very very likely fall on my ass, which is funny for all but me :P

Evening: Foooooood! I think we'll go to Matsuri for dinner - to have Teppanyaki! Its entertaining AND yummy! Alternatively, we could go to Mitsukoshi where the waitresses are super-cute in their kimonos.
After dinner we should go to the Haagen Dazs cafe to have dessert. Do I pop the question? Yummm ice-cream! After we've lounged around enough we shold totally go to Camden to the Electric Ballroom for clubbing! That only lasts until 3am I think though, so if more clubbing was wanted, we should head to Slimelight in Angel, where clubbing ends at 6am
What do you think?

Your popping the question there whompy? Hmm, ok thats a definite reason to go.
positives: Day out with you guys and gals, maybe see whomp ask someone a life changing question, and a free beer if i can improve my grades a lot!
negatives: Im a poor bastard. Oh, and since im only 17 (18 on some slightly unofficial documents, but we wont mention those) i will probably be turned away from the clubs and be left in london on my own.

So its still a maybe, leaning towards a no from me.

Change of thoughts on the travel costs tickets on a train depending on the times is around £26... hmmm...

Anywhere in London cost about the same a night? :mischief:

As long as we are all prepared to enjoy ourselves, im willing to blow a load of cash. A chinese for us all (any underage) then some clubbing/pubbing afterwards. Any weekend is fine.. but can someone find me some seriously cheap bed? a bench is pushing it, but i can sleep anywhere

Warning: Matsuri and Mitsukoshi is quite expensive - about £20-30 per person without drinks included!

As for cheap stay hotels... i might suggest youth hostels. I hear that sometimes they're not pleasant, but if you're only there for the night then its an option for those looking for cheap accomodation

Edit: http://www.hostelbookers.com/ <-- check there! I recommend somewhere central though

I walked past Peckham Lodge today and noted they charge £25/night (I think) but I have no idea what it's like in there. There are trains and buses from London Bridge to Peckham.

I cannot yet commit to 9th November - it's too far in the distant future :p
