He he, funny thing I got a 1.2Ghz Tbird Athlon. It was heating quite a lot (50° celsius, so 122 farheneit). Then I tried to underclock it down to 1Ghz. And the temperature dropped to 38°C/100°F. Quite cool isn't it? Since I didn't need lot of power, I could even go down to 800MHz! :) Then it was quite fine and stable. So now i have the proof that underclocking is better than overclocking! :D

he he, i have friend with a 1.33ghz tbird and also he has problems with the heat. i´m gonna tell him about this.:goodjob:

Maybe if you buy a fan for the processor! Or if you already have a fan get a better one. The faster the processor the better fan you will need.

Well...
Normally you don't buy faster CPUs to run them at the same speed your old CPU had :p

"Hey, what about this 50$ fan to cool your CPU?"
"nah, better buy a faster CPU for 200$ more and slow it down."

:crazyeyes
