Obviously, that would be awesome to have all those, plus a generic undivided chaos dread. But I think that's not going to happen. I think I'll just start with a generic one - with twin-linked autocannons and a close combat weapon (just like in world eaters dread).

But generally, I think there at forge world, the best looking chaos dreads are for black legion & iron warriors

Although a dread for each faction would be awesome, a single Chaos Dread is really all that is needed

And the SM dreads are done, cheers

Here's a first look on the chaos dread. The colourings might be very off, but civ-colour is necessary.

The close-combat hand weapon is still undone (that stump is there just for a placeholder).

Suggestions, anyone?

For a CCW I suggest that you give him the Forge World Chainsaw, not Game Workshop`s stoopid claws, that looks awfull.

Heh... i just realized, that my request for suggestions was not in "correct place".

Of course I was going to make the chainfist as a close combat weapon. What I meant by the suggestions was on everything else - like the colouring & all that jazz - but I have an alternative idea on colouring already

All that jazz looks great to me! And I like the coloring, but I am also curious about what you had in mind..

Well, this is what I had in mind - as you can see, it's close to the iron warrior dread (I praised earlier)

The thing is, those yellow & black stripes are distinctive IW marks, I`d rather go without them..

I'm not sure if they're solely used by IW. Lookie here - word bearers (altough only in the chainfist, but still).

Besides, I like the striping. It's a warning colour "don't come any closer, or I'll run you through!"

I didn`t say its solely used by them, but its their favorite marking. Used by others, but rarely..

Btw, are these robots? Or is there a human inside of them, in control?

they are like armed and armoured life-support machines. When a Space Marine Hero is wounded, and beyond salvation, sometimes he gets encased in a Dreadnought, and continues to live and fight.

So, this would suit better for all chaos marine chapter - without the black/yellow striping on the right side of the body?

Wait? It will be black, and the blue is civ-color?

that was the idea. You were thinking about something else - like civ-coloured hull and the trims shoudl be of different colour?

Looks about half black to me, at civ-scale it probably will anyway

But i wouldnt be opposed to more or all civ-colour, i just think that black is chaosy
