Not looking for anything specific (although I guess this counts as a general request): Does anyone know of good fantasy organic air units, particularly of a demonic flavour? There's the Zombie Bat from EFZI2, tom2050's Hellfire Dragon might work in a pinch, and I've dug up some potentials from Conquests of Might and Magic. Anything noteworthy I've missed?

Would anyone be interested in making an Amphibious Assault Helicopter Carrier of the USS Wasp (LHD-1) class? These ships carry 2200 Marines into conflicts using Helicopters and LCAC's (Landing Craft, Air Cushion) which launch from their Well Deck. Besides numerous Helicopters, these ships also carry AV-8 Harriers.

If someone is interested, I have a 3DS model of this class of ship, and it has been texture mapped but still needs a little more work (by me). I also have satellite photos of 7 of the 8 ships of this class. I have found a picture of the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) firing a Sea Sparrow missile (which is used against aircraft and anti-ship missiles).

The ships of this class are:
LHD-1 : USS Wasp
LHD-2 : USS Essex
LHD-3 : USS Kearsarge
LHD-4 : USS Boxer
LHD-5 : USS Bataan
LHD-6 : USS Bonhomme Richard
LHD-7 : USS Iwo Jima
LHD-8 : USS Makin Island

All are currently in service.

Interesting model I actually have a better one and someday plan to make it into a unit. But you will be have to patient. Many many many projects on my plate

CCM could need a steam roller of the 1900s:

The unit will come with the tech steam power and will have better values than the normal worker unit. The steam roller will be replaced in the 1940s by Garry Childress`existing steam tractor unit.

Well, a surreal request, dimensions probably too weird for Civ scale, although I imagine Andrea could do a bang-up job on a shortened version. Plus the SteamPunk Gang might get a kick out of it.

Thanks much for the Tarawa Class. I don't know how I missed finding it on my own. No hurry on the Wasp Class LHD. I've downloaded and will use the Tarawa for now.


edit: I did a search on the database for 'Tarawa' and got this: "No files matched your query." Hmmm! Did it get missed in being uploaded onto the downloads database?

Takhisis, thank you very much. A good looking steam roller would be the first step of the needed superworkers for big maps. In post 471, 475 ff of the following link there is the discussion, why such an unit is needed:
