Unit Request Thread

Bernie14 beat you to this request too. He includes 3 models with the Napoleonic infantry packs: a soldier, an officer, and a grenadier. You can mix and match them however you like... (Unless you want actual grenade-throwers in the traditional sense of the word, but that would require making a new set of animations.)

yeah i need a grenade throwing unit
it intended to be a ranged unit (range 1), between crossbowman and gatling gun
 
Alright, I know this is double posting but I have a new request: I need a Llanero unit, pretty much a lancer without much ornaments and with a peasant's hat (Reference).

I need it to make a Gran Colombia Civilization, if it can be done I'd be grateful.
 
It's been a long time since I posted a request here. Is anyone even remotely possibly interested in making or converting some fantasy units? My mod is getting into a fairly advanced stage (an "advanced gamma" if you like) but desperately needs unit art.

I could make a list with links to Civ4 units if that helped. It is fairly standard stuff: orcs, goblins, ogres, etc. I know the Chronicles of Adea folks need fantasy units too.
 
some early armored battleship and armored cruisers would be nice as well

If you ask me the Standard Civ5 Ironclad looks kind of like these-

and there are also models for "real" looking Ironclads in the civ files (just discovered that :o), search for "confederate_ironclad.fxsxml" and
"union_ironclad.fxsxml"

so you could use these "civilwar ironclads" as, well ironclads, and the standard ironclad as armored cruiser.

yes this could be a solution :) but for the basic ironclad from Civ 5 I find it not so elegant as those pictured above :)
 
Is there any chance of anyone making more units for the Maya? The ancient to classic to I think medieval era units are pretty awesome so far, but in comparison to the other Civs they start losing their custom unit graphics pretty early. I know the Aztec are probably easier to make units for as they're mainly where Mexico is today, and the Maya are spread across parts of Mexico, Guatamala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
 
I'm hoping someone here can help me out with some Civ4 -> Civ5 unit conversions that I need for my mod. I'm hoping these won't be too difficult for someone more up to speed on the tools. I seem to be getting stuck on the Blender to Nexus/GR2 part.
