Unit Requests: Flying Dutchman, Craken

there you go, Hikaro will make me mates real if they arent already

T'was a good film. 'parently they've already made the 3rd one.

But yes, the flying dutchman would be cool, and maybe a cursed land unit to accompany it into an amphibious assult in the West Indies.

I already posted this preview in my birthday thread, but I thought I'd post it here, too:

Tell me what you think.

could we see it in CIV perspective...

loooks great btw

FYI: did you know that there was a guy in the forums who had his name as Kraken long before any of the movies came out?

Just sounds interesting, don't know why i said that, pretty random...

Kraken, Craken, Kracen, Cracen (I don't know if those last two are correct :D)

It's in LOTR too!

oh, i didnt know that, thanks for the info weasel and LMR
yah, im talking about colonel Kraken, did he retire also??

Colonel Kraken? Who's that?

check the tutorial subforum and you will find out soon enough

Sweet, Cap'n Jack is looking good, :D. One thing, though, he needs much more of a tan, :crazyeye:.

BTW, use Johnny Depp sound bytes for fidget and victory ("this is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught captain Jack Sparrow")

Odin: I was thinking exactly that:

Fidget= "Why is the rum always gone?"
Fortify = "After you, mate!"
Victory = "And this is the day you will always remember as the day you ALMOST caught Captain Jack Sparrow!!"
Death = "Bugger!!"

Cam: I just got a bunch of piratey figures and props (for V3) off of renderosiy, and am re-working the figure right now... I've added a better sablre and Jack's hat....

I'll post a preview when I'm done tweaking.

Maybe for a alternative fidget he could wobble around. :D

Hey, I like the 3d anim of Jack, but I think his sword should look more like a cavalry sabre on the end. For his victory anim you could have him drinking a bottle of rum. For his attack he could fire a shot off from his pistol, the next shot would be a jam and then he would pull out his sabre and continue the fight. Since you're thinking of doing Jack, maybe you could do a Captain Barbarosa too.

Okay....

Odin: You won't really be able to see that thin goatee at civ scale anyways..... Or the buckles (plus there aren't any for the PDM anyways).

I was thinking of having him stager around a bit for the fidget and say, "Why is the Rum gone?"

Also, I made a few updates to the figure, and am posting a civ scale preview:
