Unit requests thread

Yeah, definately. They did eventually evolve to using gunpowder shortly before they died out. Even in their hayday when they used spears and longbows, they still carried a single shot black powder pistol.
 
I have uploaded the Cossack Border Revier, as well as the one with the Explorer. Also included are a Combat engineer (reskinned Modern GE with an MP5).

They are in the MechaUnits1 Forum, but they will be taken down soon.
 
Hey, I just wanted to thank Mechaerik and everyone involved in getting my Border Reivers made. After a little bit of coloring, here's how they look in my game:

I fiddled with it a bit so I could have two Reivers led by a Warden. I gave the Warden a white beard to make him look more experienced and recolored his horse to make him stand out more. I also colored bits of him brown to make it look like he's wearing leather instead of a breastplate.

Just requesting again to make sure it isn't lost, I would like a longbowman unit with the three lions and fleur-de-lis coat of arms. example:

Yes, but then he would be able to build farms etc and still have no attack, and anyway I want hings like a spade and a Royal Engineers cap badge so I can tell who he is.

You can turn off the abilities to build certain things by deleting some XML when you make the unit. Plus why do you need him to have attack? Its just a combat engineer right? Do they send out whole platoons of combat engineers for the purpose of fighting people? I think it'd be fine as a unit you gave a higher defense to (since they'd normally fight in defensive situations if they needed to) and have them accompany combat units.
 
Engineers go armed, so prehaps he'd have a trait like the scout/explorer that he can't launch attacks. Neverthwless, they don't just surrender.
 
Its very easy to make a unit unable to attack; in the XML there is a tag: <bOnlyDefensive>. Switch the 0 inside to 1 and it will not be able to attack, but will be able to defend.

Did you try to give them a combat-strangth? I think if you did so, they would be able to attack and defend.

Well, what you could do is merge the animations from the worker and give them an animation for a marine shooting, or whatever other type of weapon. I can do that if you'd like, though it might be a week or so before I can get around to doing it.
 
I would like to place my unit back on the table:
The guy in the logo; i no longer care what animations it uses.
I *need* (read: important, but not vital) this unit for the mechamod.
 
I'm looking for one or more World War 2 era partisan units. I'm looking for some kind of infantry like unit that's wearing regular clothes instead of a uniform. Has anyone seen any units that fit this description (or just come close to fitting this description)?
 
GarrettSidzaka made a Workermarine that used the worker body but marine kfm. That's a little after WWII, but is that the type of thing you want?
 
I would like a Great Person that looks like a pope, and another one that looks like a Protestant Evangelist.
 
This is not realy a unit request, but it is close.
I reboned this model for use in a mod, but in the game only the rifle shows up. The model just doesent.
Could someone just look at the nif and see why this is occuring?
