Hey all, I'm looking and I don't see anyone adding a pirate ship into any of the mods. I think that was a really good unit back in the civ 3 days. I have no clue how to use this xml and all, I tried but had little luck. If anyone could help me out with either how to make one, or make me one and post it, that would be great. I think it should come with the frigate, be disguised, not invisible, just unconnected to any civ. to the enemy and have a strength of around 9 or 8. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also a ground unit like this I think would be cool, don't know when I would make him available, but I always thought that would be cool, to have a weak mercenary that can cause havoc on improvments and such in enemy territory. I think it should come with maybe metal casting, early but no other unit comes with it, make it like a 3 strength so it can be easily beat by swordsmen or axemen but enough to fight off warriors, just enough to get in the enemies land and cause a little havoc. Thanks again in advance for any help. Again, might just be me, but I think this would be a great addition to the game.

I've looked all over for this addition but found it nowhere (am I the only one who misses this?). It shouldn't be too hard for those of you who know what you're doing, I don't at all, tried and failed. Shouldn't need any special skins from scratch, maybe for the ship, a caravel with a black sail, and for the land unit maybe just a warrior that is somehow different, different flag or something easy like that. Anyways can't say it enough, thanks for any help as I am XML ******** but have some high hopes and what I think would be some great additions for the game

Medieval spearmen

Medieval Ship (like a bigger galley,without fire power)

Erm, the game ships with a Mark II. Unpack your art0.fpk folder and look in the units section.

Alternatively, download the "hidden units" mod since the graphics are used there as well.
