Hello everyone!
I'm new to this modding bussines (speaking about Civ), i have found many great units in here, I have downloaded a few, but the one i was looking for I couldn't find: The E-3 Sentry (AWACS), I plan to mod it in to be the upgrade of the Blimp.
And an E-2 would be sweet as well.

The Mig-21 is definately already out... I have three or four versions of it in my mod.

Oddly enough, it's called the Wolfshanze Mod. Call it my lack of imagination.
I already do.
I am palying with stealth fighters already, but didn't see the Mig-21. There was some sort of early jet plane, but it wasn't the Mig. I probably have an outdated version of your mod. Well this is good news, I 'll update the mod and fly the Mig-21!
Marines are not paratroopers, and Mamaba does have the Morpekh (Russian marines) in the mod. But paratroopers still look like just vanilla paratroopers. Those Russian VDV guys look awesome with their stripped undershirts and sky-blue berets. If somebody can make it, sure going to be a great addition to the game!
Only some civs use the Mig-21, it is a graphical variant of the regular JetFighter, not a separate unit. Ethiopia, Mali and Zulu use it. Russia uses the Mig-29.
But not the Russians? I thought that the Mig-21 is a very much a Russian Early Jet Fighter. Mig-29 is a good choice for Jet Fighter in the mod, but Mig-21 should be a great choice instead of whatever it is now (sorry, I dont recognise that plane).

The Mig-21 makes an excellent model to pawn-off on 3rd world nations in the Soviet Block. I did much the same in my Wolfshanze Mod... giving the Mig-21 to many African and Asian nations, while the Soviets themselves flew the Mig-25... of course I only have ONE Jet fighter in my mod. Similarily, I have F-4s, F-5s and F-16s to Western Block nations as their jets, while the Americans fly the F-15.
For the time being the early jet fighter is the P-59 (one unit only so far), in the next version I will add some variety, Russia will move to the Mig-15 (America will be using the F-86, Germany the Me-262 and a few others will be in as well).
The Mig-21 looks too modern to belong to the early jets imo
