it does not work i spelled everything right but it does not show up:( not even a blob of red so what am i doing wrong:confused:.
 
yes and its clear you can see the shadow on the ground of the Civilpedia but that's it:sad:.

Are the .nif file and the .kfm file named the same? Sometimes there are problems when they are not.
 
Then increase the size.
Some units are technically just small. I had to set the scale value for one of the units in my mod to 80 or so to see it.

it did change size but still did not show up just the shadow.

yes they are named the same the animation came with the file but its for warlords so does that make a difference:confused:.

Hm, the FX file seems to not work like it should. Try removing the <SHADERNIF> line in the ArtDefines file. Or if you want to keep that line, rename .../ram_FX.nif to .../ram.nif.

It's just a quick combination of the first fidget animation with the modern engineer effect. I only got the no_fx mesh to work with this, but I hope that's sufficient. If you want to use this unit, you'll have to remove the <SHADERNIF> entry in the .xml file. Alternatively you can copy the SupplyTrain.nif file and rename it SupplyTrain_FX.nif.

How easy/difficult would it be to switch the effect to the great merchant effect?

The effect without the coins should be easy, but I don't know how I could put the coins in.
 
I don't really need the coins. Basically what I was going to do was use it as a base for some ethnic great merchants that would look odd with a camel.
 
I don't got the time to learn Blender right now .. so is it possible to replace heads/helmets and weapons of a 3d model with nifskope? Right now I just can "preview" changed textures and remove nodes (shields, weapons etc.)

If the answer ist yes .. how? :D
 
Yes it is possible. Weapons are usually very easy to switch with NifSkope. Placing a head is similarly easy. Removing heads, however, is blender work. Someone ripped the heads off of most of the units and made some packs a while back though.

Wow, really? Have you even ATTEMPTED to look for them in the database?

I can't believe I even asked that, of course you haven't, otherwise you wouldn't be asking here. People who are lazy usually don't get their requests finished.
