unnnnnbelievable... seems every export variant, that the frenchies got their amx30 into, is in the chart. (and more - the last one seems a little like a theoretical WW2 camo for me ;) )

what I like alot is the reactive Armor Version in french colour.
 
im not promising all of them, but a good number. I was just looking at the shape of the AMX-30 and it looks like a good candidate for a generic cold war era tank for minor powers like the Inca, Aztecs, Vikings, Zulus, Carthaginians and all the rest without having to rely on American or soviet designs. I set things up so that I could quickly change the textures as I did for the BMP's and make lots of variants.
 
well I see your point... from this idea, the Leopard 1 would have been a great candidate too... and given to its wide distribution in many cases also quite an authentic piece of equipment for many civ's and their theoretical predcessor state in the real world.

nevertheless, the spanish, hellenic and arabian AMX30 versions together with versions for south american civ's would be a real warm welcomed detail for cold war mod's

How I spent my birthday: Woke up, went to work. Came home at 5am. Rinse and repeat.

I actually rendered about half of these tanks before I ran out of room on my HDD so I had to slow down. Will pick up again soon.

Downloaded, tested in-game, all looks splendid! :goodjob:

Half the fun is trying to guess which variants are in next batch... the only one I would be reasonably sure of is the green :)

Green, African, North African, Spain, Woodland, Venezuelan.

Possible ones are the Ambush German, UN, Russian, Swedish, French Desert Storm

EDIT: Okay, everything I have is posted which leaves 7 in the preview not made yet. So 13 variants in the database now. Don't know when I will get back to this because I've got work for the next seven days with no break.

Good to hear. I limited the death's pyrotechnics to make it a faster render. That's how I could do so many in a shot period of time. Something more major would take all night for one tank.
 
8 days.

8 Hard days I've been working and I'm exhausted. If I get called into work today, I wont have a day off in two weeks. So I haven't been doing anything since I last posted. I have put together a lot more textures. Everyone is getting a tank.
 
Thank you for your work. I just found out that the Irish Army bought several French vehicles during the 70s, while putting the old Churchills and Comets out of service. The woodland AMX-30 therefore makes a great What-if 1970s tank for the Celts. :)
