So far the game is working very well and I want to commend Firaxis and the Civ 4 team for a stable, entertaining game.
Quick Load crashes cIV.
I always use the keyboard shortcut Shift + F8, and that's the only detail I recall.
It also crashed in previous versions but didn't give any message. It simply dumped me to the desktop. In version 1.52 Windows XP tells me the generic crash message "This program needs to close," or some such. This issue has occurred in all three version of Civ 4 I've played: 1.00, 1.09, and 1.52. I don't have any more info.
If this error has already been reported, kindly disregard.
