That is because they have so strict plot requirement that they must be placed before all the others within their category to not be left with no plots because the iUniqeRange from other bonuses within their category is blocking the few plots they are eligible for. They are also limited to only one landmass area I think, which further limits their freedom of plot placement.Do you/does anyone know a reason why camels and llamas are the only resource with iOrder 1, strategics generally being iOrder 2 and going down from there?
Tar is a tile feature and clay a resource, unless I'm mistaken? But it definitely looks odd, and should be avoided.
I've actually been looking at c2cworld mapscript recently (lake overhaul juuuuust about done), and the resource placement could use some refactoring (takes like 50sec to place resources on my comp during mapgen for larger maps), though haven't touched it yet and not sure if this particular issue has been fixed or not. Toffer, want me to look into it?
