somewhy cant replace machu pichhu with mountain mine

Hidden Nationality is HN. If your units are Hidden Nationality, they cannot capture you a city since they can't declare the city to be a nationality without blowing their own hidden status, which they won't do. You CAN, however, get them to invade a city to swap it to no nationality (barbarian) then be able to come in with units that AREN'T of Hidden Nationality to declare the city yours. Neanderthal Warriors are assumed to not be working with Homo Sapiens thus are HN units leveraging this assumption by simply not going around with you're nation's banner. Other Neanderthal units may just be versions of normal units like axemen and macemen and so on and they don't have HN status and can thus capture those cities from barbarians - letting you take cities from actual players without ever declaring war on them.

somewhy receiving event - gain treasure from ruins of city approximately every 4-6 turns
current save + some turns ago autosave

@dmeyster, shhhh that's not a bug, that's a nice little earner, been making use of that one for years :)

I got an event bug though, got the all axemen recieve free Shock I promotion event but it ends up not giving Shock I to any of them. I also had a similar issue with Great Hunter event earlier, in that case instead of promoting all my hunter units to Great Hunter it instead granted them the option of selecting Great Hunter when they next naturally promoted.

Probably did give them all Shock I but because it requires the unit has Combat I, then immediately they lost it for not having the prereq. I had that fixed once upon a time.

No they all had Combat 1 already as I gave them that when I built them. You can see in the second screenshot that the axeman I've highlighted (and they are all the same in my savegame) has Combat 1.

So theoretically the event is not supposed to show up until Bronze Working (or whichever tech unlocks axemen)? Because I'll never see this event again otherwise as it's one of those fire and forget once a game events (similar to the Great Hunter event - which also acted oddly in that it didn't grant the Great Hunter promotion as it had done so in previous games, only giving that promotion as an option to take once the chaser/tracker/hunter naturally levelled up). Interestingly I did get the "Tough as Nails" Scout event that grants Combat 1 to all Scout units (including apparently future built Scouts. although this might have always been this behaviour as this is the first game I bothered to team my chaser/tracker units with Scouts - previously I just used to give them Spot promotions until I unlocked dogs)

The event should ideally have a later tech requirement, or affect more than one unit type, but you should still get the shock 1 promo for every axemen you train later in the game.

just got this after the latest SVN: info type 'UNIT_PORTUGAL_CARRACK' not found, Current XML file is: modules\Alt_Timelines\Megafauna\Megafauna_CIV4SpawnInfos.xml
Do clean-up - seems like it was corruption of SVN on your side.
Last SVN was purely code changes

This unit is in Assets\Modules\Cultures\Cultures_Cultural_CIV4UnitInfos.xml

I have a reoccurring CTD issue that although predictable, is always resolved on reloading save. It is hard to reproduce since it resolves itself on load but I felt it should be mentioned.

When attacking a city with Partisans (Hidden Nationality) and razing the city, often times you will get spawned partisan units. Attacking these with your own will sometimes instantly CTD. If you save the game right before making the attack on the partisan, when you reload and make the same attack, it will proceed without issue.

The first time I observed this I wrote it off as a fluke. It doesn't happen every time but it has happened repeatedly enough to mention it. Probably 5 or 6 times in current playthrough (SVN). On one of the occasions, I attacked the spawned partisan with a normal non-partisan unit and still got the CTD. Hard to reproduce it since reloading the save resolves what ever the issue is, but the issue is predictable.

Upload save turn or two before any partisans appear.
