[MOD] v41 SVN and GithubDesktop Bugs and Crashes Single player

I was just worried that if you have a range of 1-1000 say, and past 1000 the next level has all the modifiers of the first and 2nd lvl included then if you're past 1000 education but haven't qualified for the next level by tech yet then you lose the 1st level and it doesn't get replaced by that second level building so you end up completely unmodified for having gone too far. It depends on what you mean by using the replacement system and since I'm not looking at the xml, I'm assuming there COULD be an issue when using ranges to define what building should be in effect.
Yeah replacement system as in later building replacing earlier ones

I'll be moving on the 13th and after so it'll be a bit yet. We have successfully bagged our first home and should be signing closing docs at title on tuesday :D
Congratulations! Never go back to renting if you can own. Be frugal at the start and it will pay dividends in the end. This 3rd house we managed to take a 30 yr note at 8% interest and after a few years refinance to a 6% and a 15 yr note. We paid the house off in that 15th year. 10 years now of no mortgage payments. I was 44yrs old when we bought the place. I retired at 60.

When you talk of costs of improvements, are you speaking of gold or production time?
The cost (amount of Gold) of the actual tile improvement. Like putting the early seed gathering on a grass tile. Many of these are are imo about 30-40% too high. Especially in Preh and Ancient eras.

Now I do not know if GS and Difficulty affects this cost. As my Civic test games are played on Emperor or Immortal levels and GS are Blitz, Normal, and Long. I would play Epic but I need games into the Early Ren Era and beyond as this GS and longer take too much time to play. (I have 4 games in progress on this comp and 3 on the other (main back up) comp.) ;)

EDIT: Some of these games are now over a year ago since started and there is a bit of weirdness in them as I update with each new SVN (back up comp) or Git version (this comp).

I don't mean all this to feel angled towards you - sometimes I just find you're someone I like to speak openly to more than some because of your direct criticisms inviting depth of consideration.
I have learned to recognize this. ;) I have lived up to my upbringing as being from Missouri. Show me (too make me believe) and stubborn as a Missouri mule! :mischief::lol:

Now I wonder if there was mistake with upscaled production cost, as this option increases it by 40%
I don't use that Option...so I cannot help there.

I just edited the previous post about some weirdness in my older games with the last set of updates on both SVN and Git.

But even the latest 3 games have some variances in them too. These are the ones I'm just leaving Preh Era and either into early Ancient or going into mid and late Ancient Era.

It appears Blaze added those without balancing it, so since they are 40% too high for you I will reduce it proportionally.

I reduced them by 30% - 50% so they still are round numbers,

30 yr, 3.3% rate roughly. The rates have to be edging up this year and the longer they stay down the faster the increase in housing prices keep skyrocketing so the faster we could get into this the better. If work can hold out as solid as it has been, we should be able to recover some savings and pay down the car, solar panels that were a takeover loan that came with this thing, then the home by making extra payments per month and with each step snowball more to pay off the next thing - so with luck things are looking pretty good. Also after taxes should be starting a side business using the promotional skills I've been taught for the position I'm in. That might help as well. My wife will be able to do most of the work in that so we can pull some extra income.

We were lucky that we could find a situation like the one this guy is in and leap on it while there weren't a lot of other buyers out there vying for homes as usual. I love it when a good strategic plan works out.

Particularly early in the game I can see how these would be a problematic factor if they were too high, even possibly for the AI.

On SVN 11408 (42 Beta), Partisan transporting a jet bomber in his pocket.

I had just moved the bomber to the base he was at when I moved him out he was transporting the bomber with him. This is not a bug with rebase mechanism for the air unit because in the earlier post I made about the ICBM-packing Partisan, the way I loaded an ICBM on to him was the same way you would with a sub. I built the missile in the city and noticed the 'Load Unit' option on the missile. Knowing I had know subs capable of transporting missiles in that city I clicked it out of curiosity and low and behold it loaded ...into Partisan's backpack. So the bug would appear to be with the Partisan units transport capabilities. Assuming they were only meant to transport captive land units and not Minuteman IIIs / B-52 Bombers.

That's the face of some serious concealed carry.

You can see the selected unit is not in the base he is in fact transporting the bomber.

Fix will be in next SVN revision, which is on the way.

Do you remember other specific weirdness?

Transport stuff was refactored so some issues is fixed.
Redundant tech stuff in buildings were moved to base of building, that is no early tech boost to late building, instead its in building base tag now (+1 health from cooking was replaced with 1 health more in building for example)
After I repacked FPKs from scratch on my side, I noticed pink buttons in folklore, that I fixed now, also folklore animal names now match subdued animal name, if its buildable by single subdued animal.

I just updated to SVN-11409 and noticed the victory point score calculation is now heavily weighted towards Wonders. Dwarfing Tech, Land and Population points by about 8:1 .Is this WAD ?

Most likely always it was such case @Toffer90 could rebalance it

The tech leader gets all the wonders, so Wonders = Tech. How does it compare to culture, where every Phenomenal city (which by the end is basically every city) gets 30 pts? If I remember correctly and it hasn't been fixed.

SVN 11409 - I've noticed that the religion tech Kemetism costs more than double it's contempories in it's column to research, I know that Kemetism used to be researched at the end of the ancient era rather than it's current location, has the tech cost not been adjusted to account for this or is the expense intentional?

I'll add python checker so its easier to catch it.
