i dont think i have the warlord ... coz in the game when i click on check for updates ... its say there is *****1.61 patch available would u like to download?
and i already had... so i really dont know what should be done here ...

Try downloading the patch with the in-game updater. You really should install the 1.61 patch as it fixes a lot of stuff.

i try but it really take some time to download ... and yet i dont know how to make the play game screen not full screen ... i tried to look for the option full screen but didnt find it at all....

I guess to repeat;

You can go Options > Graphics > (deselect) Full Screen Mode.

Similar for 'non-Warlords' with the 1.61 patch (as also advised).

That's strange. I'm just making sure but you do have a legal copy of the game, don't you?

The reason you are missing the extra options under graphics is because you need to install the patch.

how would i distinguish between the two ...

a friend game me the gamew cd and i installed it on my pc

No cd patch, isn't it? Probably that is where the problem is...
Or you get a legal copy of the warlords cd or .... ( I can't say the rest, but involves googling)
