I'd like to vote more often in this thread, but my memory is always a bit fuzzy about this since I haven't played civ V in around a year and I need to click through some videos first for every vote, which makes it a bit tedious.

Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 11
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 23-3=20 - I know that Firaxis even used student of Hawaiian University to find him a Hawaiian speaker... It's nice touch. But his voice is too annoying for me. As I once said, I hate trading with him. But I will downvote him today and leave him for some time. Emaaai!

Enrico Dandolo (Venetian) - 26
Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - (23+1)=24 So impressed by Firaxis for making him speak Old Javanese instead of modern Indonesian, plus the VA has a cool deep voice.
Gandhi (Hindi) - 23
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 11
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 20 Is it really his voice which really bothers you or the language (which lacks a lot of consonants)? Plus his VA is a Professor from what I know
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - 19
Napoleon (French) - (22-3)=19 His voice is not that impressive to me, better than Napoleon with an English accent (Assassin's Creed Unity lol), but it also lacks the Corsican accent
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - 21 I think I will take a shot at you for speaking Arabic soon...

-Pedro II
-Maria I
-Augustus Caesar
-Gajah Mada
-Shaka

Ahmad al-Mansur (Moroccan Arabic) - 24
Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 23
Askia (Zarma) -19 (22-3) The voice is way to calm for the leader screen and the actions of the model
Attila (Chuvash) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) -22
Bismarck (German) - 23
Boudicca (Welsh) - 22
Catherine (Russian) - 15

Sejong (Middle Korean) - 21
Shaka (isiZulu esijulile) - 24
Suleiman (Turkish) - 19
Theodora (Greek) - 22
William (Dutch) - 25 (24+1) The voice fits very good to the music and the general atmosphere of the leader screen. Get's nice emotional when you declare war or propose a bad deal, while he is really nice otherwise. Good work.

Ahmad al-Mansur (Moroccan Arabic) - 24
Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 23
Askia (Zarma) -19
Attila (Chuvash) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 22+1=23 - Great voice of bored emperor of mighty Roman Empire. And according to some people, his Latin is very good.
Bismarck (German) - 23
Boudicca (Welsh) - 22
Catherine (Russian) - 15
Darius I (Aramaic) - 23
Dido (Canaanite/Phoenician) - 19
Enrico Dandolo (Venetian) - 26
Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - 24
Gandhi (Hindi) - 23
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 11-3=8 - It's still harder to pick leader to downvote, but I guess this is the weakest link here. Not bad voice like everyone eliminated before Hiawatha, but it's not very similar to the real emperor Haile Selassie. And he needs to show more emotions in hate state.
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 20
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19

William (Dutch) - 25

Ahmad al-Mansur (Moroccan Arabic) - 24
Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 23
Askia (Zarma) -(19+1)=20 I'm impressed that Firaxis and whoever they hired to do the VA, got someone who could speak Zarma. His voice is decent enough. The real Askia wasn't that much of a warlord though. His depiction here reminds me of Sunni Ali instead.
Attila (Chuvash) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 23
Bismarck (German) - 23
Boudicca (Welsh) - 22
Catherine (Russian) - 15

Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 8
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 20
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - (19-3)=16 I'm gonna downvote Monty from now on, because I can't stand him saying Spanish loanwords in Nahuatl (las Aztecas, impero) when the real guy lived decades before the arrival of Cortes...The VA in Civ6 is not as OTP as this guy, but his Nahuatl seems free of Spanish influence.
Napoleon (French) - 19
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - 21

Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 8
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - (20+1)=21 Surely his score cannot be below Sejong's? (who I find a little mediocre, and it seems Korean speakers on Youtube have similar criticisms) The Hawaiian language can be annoying to people because of it's lack of consonants, but I still like the VA's voice.
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - 16
Napoleon (French) - 19
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - (21-3)=18 People have tried to justify the Pharaoh speaking Arabic, but I wished Firaxis and whoever they hired for the recordings tried harder. They didn't necessarily needed a Coptic speaker, just someone who can write ancient Egyptian dialogue. Imagine this VA speaking in Middle Egyptian like Cleopatra does in Civ6...Oh what could've been...
Ramkhamhaeng (Thai) - 19
Sejong (Middle Korean) - 21

Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - 24
Gandhi (Hindi) - 23
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 8
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 22+1=23 - His voice actor, althrough speaking Danish, does good job. I think it's great voice. He even laughs in both war declarations!
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 23
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 21
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - 16
Napoleon (French) - 19
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - 18-3=15 - I agree. There are better choices for Ramesses' language than Arabic.
Ramkhamhaeng (Thai) - 19
Sejong (Middle Korean) - 21
Shaka (isiZulu esijulile) - 24
Suleiman (Turkish) - 19
Theodora (Greek) - 22

Enrico Dandolo (Venetian) - 26
Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - 24
Gandhi (Hindi) - 23
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 8
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 23
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 24 (23+1) I think this is someone where the voice acting is more expressive than the animation.
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 21
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - 16
Napoleon (French) - 16 (19-3) He looks and behaves so arrogant, yet his voice actor doesn't do it on the same level.
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - 15

Ahmad al-Mansur (Moroccan Arabic) - 24
Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 23
Askia (Zarma) -20
Attila (Chuvash) - (23-3)=20 The voice actor is good, but broken Chuvash! It's no wonder he wanted to be credited only as "Vitali". People try to justify the errors in the language by saying it was intentional, but I disagreed. Firaxis messed up by hiring someone who wasn't an expert in the language.
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 23
Bismarck (German) - 23
Boudicca (Welsh) - 22
Catherine (Russian) - 15
Darius I (Aramaic) - 23
Dido (Canaanite/Phoenician) - (19+1)=20 Her speaking a form of Phoenician impresses me, and gave me hope for other ancient languages being spoken in the game (but not Sumerian unfortunately...). She sounds a bit like a Twi'lek, but I think her voice fits the backstabbing queen.
Enrico Dandolo (Venetian) - 26

Catherine (Russian) - 15
Darius I (Aramaic) - 23

Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24

Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 22
Ramesses II (Egyptian Arabic) - 15-3=12 - Actually, Ramesses speaking Arabic is worse than Haile.
Ramkhamhaeng (Thai) - 19
Sejong (Middle Korean) - 21
Shaka (isiZulu esijulile) - 24
Suleiman (Turkish) - 19

Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - 24
Gandhi (Hindi) - 23+1=24 - Voice that sounds like the real Gandhi.
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - 8-3=5 - Voice that doesn't sound like the real Haile Selassie.
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 23
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 24
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 21
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23

Gandhi (Hindi) - 24
Gustavus Adolphus (Swedish) - 22
Haile Selassie (Amharic) - (5-3)=2 Perhaps Haile Selassie in real life was a calm man, but the in-game Haile dialogue relating to war doesn't sound convincing. He doesn't seem that angry when his country is invaded and this makes me feel like the voice acting is a little too mediocre compared to other leaders.
Harald Bluetooth (Danish) - 23
Harun al-Rashid (Arabic) - 24
Kamehameha (Hawaiian) - 21
Maria I (Portuguese) - 23
Maria Theresa (German) - 19
Montezuma (Nahuatl) - 16
Napoleon (French) - 16
Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 24
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 23
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - (22+1)=23 Once again, Firaxis impresses me with finding someone who can write Shoshone dialogue, since the language doesn't really have that many speakers at the moment. The VA conveys sadness well in his defeated, as well as righteous anger in the Attacked and Declare War lines.

Oh! Is that why (GD) Alexander isn't on the list? I get it now...

I'll also upvote Pocatello. I just love his rich tone, and knowing his speech is authentic--that impressed me.

When I think of iconic voices--those I can hear immediately just from reading the name or thinking of the civ--I go to Dandolo, Nebb, MariaT, QueenE, Ramkham... I wanted to downvote MariaT (or Izzy or Maria I) because I hate their voices, but the fact they're stuck means the VA did a nice job.

My downvote goes to Catherine. (My absolute favorite ally AI)
