One of them , the one in English talks of the victory speech , two days into the Russian offensive , with the British paratroopers already advising in Hostomel or Gostomel or Antonov's factory airfield where the An-225 survived until the last day and the majority of its commercial missions would be for one American company . ROFL, Putin's idea was to take Kyiv in a matter of days. The first thing the Russian did was to launch an airborne assault to infiltrate troops in Kyiv and take the Hostomel airport, once the airport and key zones in the city were secured the main army coming from the east for land was supposed to take the city and overthrow the government. As we know, and even watched live in TV, everything was a disaster and Russian casualties were massive.

Of course, months after the disaster, taking advantage of the apparent average Russian's shrimp-level memory, Putin said to justify such huge failure that the operation was an attempt of coercion or some crap like that. But the truth is stubborn. I doubt that even Putin supporters, for who lying is a way of life, can truly believe that.

Well "The Ghost of Kiev" was not a single ace pilot, rather the collective effort to deny Ukrainian airspace the Russians - and that seems to have been largely succesful, given they are now limited to lobbing glide bombs, drones and missiles, ...
