What America and Europe have in common?

I used to think us northerners had very little in common with southern Europeans, but the more Americans I've met, the more I've come to understand the European common ground, and that I most likely have more in common with a Greek than I have with someone from say, Wisconsin. (Generally speaking of course.)

Bah, there's more cultural diversity in my neighbourhood than in the whole of Europe. What are the cultural polar ends of European, Norway vs Greece? One group handles the cold better than the other, that's about it. :p

Congratulations, I think you won the "most ignorant post of the thread" award

Anyway, most of Europe is part of the West, so the cultural similarities are stronger than the differences. We can enjoy our diversity without hating each other because the "core" culture is the same.

Are you including Turkey in that Europe of yours?

In Winners defence, the sarcasm was difficult to detect. I didn't even see it untill you pointed it out.
Maybe your failure of understanding the sarcasm is because you have neglected to focus on sysphus joke on the seriousness by the smilie at the end-:p
