Don't have a favourite for boys, but I do have an idea for a girl: Cobi. I knew a girl a few years ago with that name, and thought it was very nice. She explained that her parents went to university in South Africa many years ago, and knew a girl there named Jacobi. So when she was born, her parents named her after their friend, but got rid of the first two letters, as they thought it sounded better.
If our first child is a boy, I would like to name him Alexander; if she is a girl, I would like to name her Alexandra. This is half because I like the name and half because I am drawn to [REDACTED].
For girls, I like Serena and Natalie (or Talia, as it were). For boys, um, I guess Paul is pretty good.
Boy: Marcus, Gaius, Maximus... because I like those.
Girl: Athena... definitely, no doubt about it. I'm 100% sure about that one. if I absolutely have to pick a back up name just in case, then Cornelia...
Boy: Well, the first one, something beeginning with A, mostly because of the tradition of the first son of the generation having a name beginning with it. My grandad is Alan, my dad is Andrew, and I'm Alex. After that, anything goes.
Girl: I'd leave this up to the mother, but I like Maria. Mostly so I can play 'How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria' when she gets married.
If I have a daughter she will be named, Caroline Michelle, since that would have been the name of either me or my brother had we been female, so I thought it would be good to use that name.
