Bible by God and His Son Jesus

Reading Guns, Germs and Steel, inspired by a discussion here on CFC

Great stuff till now.

Great stuff 'til now meaning the point you're at now isn't great? Or just that all you've read so far is great?

If you do like that one, Jared Diamond has also written 'The Third Chimpanzee', which is another good read.

Just finished Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (unabridged, but in English).
Getting started on Tom Jones by Henry Fielding.

Im reading The Tenth Circle by Jody Picoult.

I had stayed away from this author as my wife likes to read her and we have VERY different tastes in literature, but it's actually pretty cool.

Main character is a graphic novelest so when his life goes to crazy (daughter is raped and wife is cheating on him), he writes this comic about his hero (him) going to Dante's 10 circles of hell trying to save his daughter...

The author has actual comic clips in the book and all events mirror what he is going through in real life. It's actually pretty deep but enjoyalbe at the same time.

Lots of really wierd stuff happens, but I wont give anything else away.

I just finished The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson.

Pretty good, not as good as his others, but I didn't grow up in that generation, so I perhaps missed some of the jokes.

I'm also reading the Iraq Study Group Report.

I meant that all I've read so far is great.

Thanks for the tip - a friend at uni is reading that just now actually, so I might swap it with him after we're done.

A most un-interesting book on Digital Communications.

Darwin's Radio by Greg Bear. Definitely would recommend it.
