Before I started reading Tom Jones I had forgotten just how opaque and roundabout 18th century English writing was (the kind, that gave us numerous, extraneous, commas, in various, legal, documents,,,). So I've given up on that for the time being and started reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which is less coherent yet somehow seems much easier to understand.

As a matter of fact they're very good. I loved Thrall's story - Lord of the Clans. - they wanted to make an adventure game with that exact story.
The first one (Day of the Dragon) is about Alextraza and how she was freed from the orcs.
The third one (Last Guardian) i barely started - but it is about Medivh.
I've heard several other books about World of Warcraft appeared. Those don't intrest me that much tho. I bet they're based mostly on WoW itself.
I'd love to get my hands on the Diablo books about the Sin Wars. Sadly they are nowhere to be found around here.
This is Blizzard we're talking about here. They would never stain their reputation with crappy books ya know.

Finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman, which sucked, and am about to start on Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson.
@Masq: I really liked Neverwhere! Reminded me a bit of Alice in the Wonderland... with a dark twist!

Like i said, you should read "Lord of the Clans" - mostly because you like adventure games.
It shows the life of Thrall from birth to preWarcraft3
It also depends how much you are into the Warcraft universe. For example i loved the 3rd book - The Last Guardian because it really sheds some light on Medivh, his mom, Kadghar and Sargares. Just for that reason i was able to like the book even tho the ending kinda sucked for the big picture.
This book takes place preWarcraft2 and shows why Medivh did what he did.
P.S. The books have no connection between eachother.

I'm making a second attempt at getting through Gödel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter. A great book, but somewhat complex in parts. I love self-reference and metasystems, they can be so wonderfully mind-boggling
For school I'm reading excerpts from Kritik Der Reinen Vernunft by Immanuel Kant. Very interesting, but a bit hard to understand properly sometimes.
