The rule for Lent is: No meat on Fridays during Lent. Therefore, I ate no meat on Fridays during Lent, except once when I was sick and required chicken noodle soup. Also, on Good Friday, a good, healthy, adult Catholic should fast, and have only one small meal. I did not make any larger scale sacrifices, however, like no video games or something like that.

I thought in the Catholic church you weren't supposed to have meat on every Friday, not just during Lent.

No way. Only during Lent, as a sacrifice.

I gave up giving up things for lent.

What's "Lent"?

Atheist all the way, none of this religious garbage for me!

Watch what you call garbage, boy. You wouldn't want to end up in a 5'x5'x5' cage, now would you? ;)

I gave up putting people in a 4'x4'x4' cage. I now go fo the larger version for legal purposes.:scan:

I think hardcore Catholics never eat meat on Fridays.

"Boy"?!?! "Boy"?!?!?! Watch who you are calling boy here. Your pathetic threats of a cage seem like something that a Priest might do to a boy, but they would also molest him.

I won't go further into my adbundant reasons for being anti-religious, not believing in that unproven trash in the bible.

Anyway, what is "lent"? Not related to "lentils", I assume . . .

The Lenton season is named after the prophet Lentus in the Old Testament. In Obideous 13:12, Lentus said atop Mount Sinai "in the worship of our Lord and Saviour, let us abandon our selfish ways for forty days."

Ohh, I see.

What V said, but with a Computer, and a T1 line, not a useless TV. I mean really, you can watch TV on a Computer . . .

That way I can POST about how silly religion is . . .

I was gonna say how you don't need a TV if you had a computer, but you woulkd if you wanted to simultaneously watch your TV, and post about how silly religion is . . .

I didn't give up anything (I'm not religious) but I did have pancakes on the previous tuesday for tradition. (Is that just an English thing or do other places have pancakes on that day?)

I did not observe lent :(

Religion is great!

Well, it sounded joke-ish, but crazier things have been done, so I thought (with some doubt) you were serious.
