See the little box at the top, near the right hand corner? type something in there (something that happened or you saw in your dream) and press interpret.

Example: (this is a real dream, BTW)
I dreamed I was at George Harrison's "Concert for Bangladesh". I was in the front row. After the concert, I shook hands with him.

Concert
To dream that you are at a concert, represents harmony and cooperation in a situation or relationship of your waking life. You are experiencing an uplift in your spirits.

Handshake
To dream that you are shaking hands with someone, symbolizes either a new beginning or an ending to a situation. You have have reached an agreement or a decision to a problem. The dream may also mean that you are welcoming something new into your life. In particular, if you are shaking hands with someone famous or someone important, then it suggests that you are well regarded by others.

What do YOUR dreams mean?

My dreams mean nothing spiritually/philosophically because dreams mean that you are thinking about something in your sleep. To interpret dreams is plain stupid.

I just do it for fun... :P I dont take 'em seriously

A friend of mine got me addicted to this stuff.. ;)

I don't take my dreams seriously. The other day I dreamt I got lost driving in Edmonds, WA and I took a wrong turn and found myself on an onramp to I-5 and the dream looked like it was shot through a camera from the 70's and there was bold Helvetica type saying "Speed Limit; 55"

The next day I blamed it on my boss who's been kind of teasing me about me being afraid of driving on the highway. :D

No. It's stupid to interpret a dream you know nothing about. If you remember your dreams and keep track of them yourself, once you build up a "database" of your own dreams and how you felt about them, you can interpret new ones based on your own history. Commercial "dream books" are worthless. (Beyond cheap entertainment.) Keeping your own dream book can be valuable.

I typed in 'spatial distortion alternating between the world appearing as stick figures and items and grossly distorted bulbous objects constantly expanding' and it didn't have an answer.
I know what the dream means though. It means that next morning I'm going to call it a bad night.

Apparently nightmares are trying to draw attention to a problem that I should be confronting. I think I might have noticed if the world was made of 'stick' men on a white background.

Bwahaha. I think you broke its poor little brain.

Anyway, here's mine, as I reported it on IRC ten minutes after I woke up.

(09:04:44) ErikMesoy: I just had this REALLY weird dream.
(09:05:52) EvilDarkLord: Tell us all about it and we can psychoanalyse you.
(09:06:32) ErikMesoy: Ok. I was sitting somewhere in the city, having just finished my work for today. It was late, and the part of town was somewhat shabby. There were gargoyles, bad lighting, brownish cobble streets, tall brick buildings.
(09:06:51) ErikMesoy: Suddenly two gargoyles fall down, tipping over so that they're head-first in the process. I jump aside.
(09:07:36) ErikMesoy: Then several more of them tip over head first and animate, flying towards me and swooping up. I begin running and find a street too tight for them to fly in. I sit down and think WTH is going on.
(09:07:55) ErikMesoy: While I'm thinking there, a man and a woman approach me. Both are dressed in the same odd dress.
(09:08:24) ErikMesoy: Cylindrical black top hat, white shirt with red and black adornments, black pants, holding something wandlike in their hands.
(09:08:27) EvilDarkLord: In similar dresses or two people in one dress?
(09:08:34) ErikMesoy: Similar.
(09:09:05) ErikMesoy: They didn't look quite right, so I asked them "What are you?" (not "who are you").
(09:09:39) ErikMesoy: They said something like "examinatorers" and smiled in a nasty way, then looked at one another and began talking hushedly in a foreign language.
(09:09:48) ErikMesoy: I heard the male one say something about changing my mind / changing my memory.
(09:10:09) ErikMesoy: I quickly began memorizing everything that had just happened to me. I was sitting on a step, rocking back and forth.
(09:10:29) ErikMesoy: The male one takes out a stone, which may or may not have something written on it. He holds it up, moves it in a circle for a while, and chants.
(09:11:22) ErikMesoy: I feel light-headed, but I still remember what happened, so I pretend to have a spate of hurried breathing, then I stand up, look the man blankly in the face, and say "yes, sir?" in my most autistic and servile voice.
(09:11:34) ErikMesoy: "Come with us", he says, and we start walking.
(09:12:01) ErikMesoy: The female one mutters to the male one something like "you don't think he'll be able to curse us by sending the Light after us, do you?"
(09:12:30) ErikMesoy: The male one mutters "he might, and I'm getting old... but I /have/ been a good servant." (Implication that his master protects him somehow.)
(09:12:51) ErikMesoy: We walk for a while, reaching a largish town square with a bus stop. It's shabby, same as the part of town I was in earlier.
(09:13:53) ErikMesoy: From there, there's an uphill road and several other roads. The female I-don't-know-what-but-it-looks-human fades out of my dream at this point, walking off, probably to the right, in the general direction of the bus.
(09:14:04) ErikMesoy: maybe to catch it, or maybe to walk in that direction.
(09:14:18) ErikMesoy: The male one starts walking with me, and giving me instructions, which I don't remember.
(09:14:26) ErikMesoy: After a while, he leaves me to walk alone.
(09:14:44) ErikMesoy: I panic, because I've apparently gotten mixed up in something WAY above my head, and start running.
(09:15:32) ErikMesoy: This is probably the edge of the city, since I mentioned shabby slum-like areas earlier. So I run out the edge of the city, or perhaps into a small park. There are trees.
(09:16:02) ErikMesoy: I run through my memory one more time, remembering the dragon-gargoyles, the humanlike things, the attempt to modify my memory, the implication that they're evil, and stuff that happened.
(09:16:13) ErikMesoy: |END|

...what the hell do I type in then? "Gargoyles and shapeshifters with an evil cause"?

Gargoyle
To see a gargoyle in your dream, signifies hidden and embarrassing fears over secretive matters that you have not shared with anyone.
Does IglooDude count as "anyone"? :hmm:

Did you mention the drugs? ;)

There are many theories as to how dreams occur. One is they are random thoughts formed together into a coherent story after you awaken.

Another is they are evolution putting you in situations and teaching you to remain focused in said situations.

I think dreams are important, they can help reveal emotions you did not know you had, or may have been repressing.

My dreams show me the future.

My dreams give me ideas . Lately my dreams fall under two categories :
A) Porn B) A Film with very nice story (and so i don't want to wake unless the "film" has ended)... I just wish there was a machine that could record my dreams before i forget them.

Me too! RAGHH!

Dreams are fascinating and I throughly enjoy them as vessle for self-exploration and for thinking about stuff I ordinarily would not have. I spent a half-hour this morning discussing my dream with my girlfriend. Dreams (like life) have no objective meaning but nonetheless the are a fascinating portal into the unconscious. :)

Holy schnit dude, if I could invent one thing that would be it. A dream VCR!

And yeah, I've come up with some awesome "movies" in my dreams too (99% percent of which I've almost completely forgotten :().

So Thursday morning I had an economics test, so I had been studying econ all night before and the morning of, then I had the 2hr test, so economics was really on my mind and I was really tired. So I go out to lunch with some friends, then come back here and get on fiftychat for awhile before going to take a nap. I talk to Sophie, Tycoon, azale, Bill, etc. I take a long nap. During the nap, I begin to have a dream that is like this horrible combination of fiftychat and consumer choice theory! I swear, I kept imagining an indifference curve/budget constraint model that had like fifty on the y axis and perfection on the x-axis, and there was a linear indifference curve that went through the origin, and then the point of unit elasticity was labelled (Sophie/2)(Tycoon/2) or something. I cant remember it exactly but it was something really stupid like that, and it gave me a headache.

my dreams are what i want the most, most of the time

I want the dvds of my dreams.
