I didn't really notice people saying that anyone shouldn't want to. It seemed more like people questioning whether everywhere is the place for it.

Nah. Mary said "men should evolve past the stage of wanting to possess images of women intended to provoke a sexual reaction." I tell her "by my reading, you are not just saying such images shouldn’t be in public spaces, they shouldn’t be in private spaces either." She says "I'm not saying they shouldn't exist, I'm saying men shouldn't want them to exist."

So I dunno, if that sounds so extreme to you that it can't be what anyone's actually saying... welcome to the club.

Hmmmm.

There's something in that "possess images" maybe. I think it would be an evolution if men generally confined their sexuality to the real. Not sure it's a major priority compared to a lot of other potential improvements.
