What DONT you eat?

Well I have IBS, so my particular kind deprives me of:

Anything sour (most kinds of fruit, a lot of vedgetables like Tomatos (thos damn tomatos are in almost everything) honey)

Anything spicey

Anything "strong" (like garlic and onions)

Beer, Wine, alcohol.

Coffe and regular Tea.

To much fiber.

Cold water.

I tend to not eat any seafood or fish, eggs, mayonnaise, and mushrooms. I don't eat any shellfish (allergy). I'll eat regular fish rarely - I think I've had fish twice in the last ten years. I'll eat mayonnaise or eggs if they're part of something so delicious that I forget there's mayo or eggs in it. Texture is the thing that turns me off about mushrooms, so if they're in little bits I don't mind them so much. And lima beans are gross! Cooked non-smashed tomatoes are kind of icky too.

Oh, and if I see HFCS in the ingredient list on something, I'm not likely to buy it again. Unless there's no alternative.

Twinkie

:vomit:

We are exact opposites. I wouldn't mind a plate filled with all of the above right now :)

What is IBS? :(
Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Some guy in my university is asking for an extension on his final project over it

I won't eat salsa of any sort. It's not that I can't stand the heat. I just hate the taste.

I don't eat any kind of fruit unless it's in the form of juice, ketchup or salsa.

Aside from a variety of sauces and spreads (mayonnaise), there are a few vegetables I don't like: non-spicy peppers, onions, and tomatoes. However, in sauce form tomato goes from a dislike to a definite like! And the flavour of onion isn't bad if it is infused into other foods, but the texture and flavour concentration of biting into a big onion chunk is too much.

Oh, and some desserts! Things that are too rich or of the lemon merangue (sp.?) variety can rub me the wrong way.

McDonalds .

I'm also starting to hate most standard cold cereals. Even ignoring their insane unhealthiness, I just don't like the vast majority of them anymore.

By standard, you mean overloaded-with-sugar?

I don't like those either, but love lots of cereal. Plenty of cereal doesn't have sugar, and for plain kinds, adding yogurt or fruit makes them more tasty.

The only thing from the ocean I will ever eat is salmon.

Same, unless the fish is fresh caught and immediately BBQ'd, or cooked in another appropriate manner.

I also don't eat olives (but some dishes require them) or sauerkraut.

Tomatoes, I tried eating but, the juice, the taste the smell I hate it. And commercial ketchup doesn't taste like tomatoes so I still use some.

And meat fat, I like meat but not the fat, it makes me gag.

I hated tomatoes also (despite loving tomato sauce and ketchup) for the first 24 years of my life. But then I started to like them and now I really like them. Especially heirloom varieties. :)
