I think speeding is a rediculous thing when not in a residential neightborhood. It's called the "freeway" for a reason, people!
Are there actually laws against that?
Outlawed, how exactly? What are the penalties?
Okay . . . not to derail the thread but marriage isn't the sole domain of the government. You can get married without a marriage license. Also, "impossible" and "illegal" are different.
Anyways, almost every crime has some possible harm that it may cause, usually that's why it is illegal.

It's still theft and it is not silly to sell it if there are willing buyers and a mechanism to prosecute thieves. Just because I could easily shoplift from a certain store doesn't make any theft I commit there harmless. The thing about digital information though is that you can't treat it like a regular product.
I can tell my computer to create a thousand copies of a file in seconds flat. Thus, it's really quite silly to "sell" it. In the future I see all software being free and the people who contribute to it will do it for free.
As defined by our inane rules governing intellectual property, maybe. It's still theft
There's less of them every day because of computer networks. You may have any piece of software your heart desires for free without leaving the comfort of your home; right now....it is not silly to sell it if there are willing buyers
Those mechanisms alienate so-called legitimate consumers and do not phase pirates. And as this alienation continues, more people will start downloading the software without paying for it.and a mechanism to prosecute thieves.
You're right. It's not the EASE of theft that legitimizes it; it's the fact that it is instantly copyable that legitimizes it. If I could go to the store and instantly make 20 copies of a piece of merchandise on the shelf, then there is absolutely no reason for consumerism to exist.Just because I could easily shoplift from a certain store doesn't make any theft I commit there harmless.
Why would you even need more than one copy? Instantantly copyable = easy theft, assuming you trust the source you are copying from if you are on the receiving end of the copy. You're right. Actually, if you overindulge in your speeding, jaywalking, or littering habits, you can be incarcerated in many jurisdictions. Most of the time you will get a mere infraction, but repeat or very excessive violations can be treated beyond the mere infraction level.Everyone needs to start over again because it would seem that most of you don't know what a crime is. Jaywalking, littering, speeding, and so forth are not crimes in the United States. They are infractions. An infraction is basically a civil or administrative matter. You commit an infraction and you get a ticket or a citation. While you may end up paying a fine, you cannot be deprived of your liberty for an infraction. In some states, having less than an ounce of marijuana has been decriminalized and is now an infraction.
Crimes are divided into two classes, misdemeanors and felonies. Of the two, misdemeanors are the least serious, so take a look at misdemeanors for the source of your "harmless" crimes.

Any law that bans a sexual practice between two parties in their own home that can consent.
Oh yeah, the sodomy law Clinton struck down I believe.
