Few months ago I tore my ACL. People say that's supposed to indescribable pain, but I didn't really feel anything. Even the surgury to repair it wasn't too bad, but when the took the stitches out I almost died. My doc used inside sutures, meaning I've got about a foot of thread all coiled up inside the knee that just got operated on.
The nurse just cut one end loose and started pulling. Stretched the skin on top of my kneecap out and down a good 2-3 inches. Did I mention the stitches didn't move, and that my knee had been cut open just a few weeks before?
